I would like to slow down audio playback. My phone's settings will slow it down in settings, but not when I use a chatbot. I'm not used to hearing anyone talk that fast. No, I rarely listen to radio and don't have a TV. I want a sleep story in a voice that is low, warm and older. I welcome suggestions, please explain like I am 5. Thank you 🖐️

My Galaxy S24 is continous vibrating (every 0,5s circa) while a video is playing on Firefox for Android Browser. Its embarassing. Can you help me? It is all at the latest version, Android and Firefox. The issue was since months, now i cant ignore it anymore. Greets Kevin

When I try to play whatever video on X in Firefox Nightly mobile, it just shows sequences of solid colors. Audio is still normal.

The issue happens for both GIFs and Videos This only happens in Firefox Nightly. In Firefox, the videos can be seen just fine.

I'm using Galaxy Buds 3 Pro on Firefox youtube, not the youtube app, because I simply enjoy firefox. When I close the screen it stops playing, I pinch the earbud it starts playing after the music finishes playing the browser app crashes. So I installed this extensions and it fixed this issue for me : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-background-play-fix/

So pinching functionality works for play/stop but double pinch for skipping to the next video or song does not work. Also 3 pinch as well for rolling back previous video.

Is this a compatibility issue? If yes can it be done for us to enjoy firefox with galaxy buds 3 pro ?

Hi Mozilla Support, I’m running into a recurring issue on Firefox for Android when watching videos. Whenever I have a video playing in one tab (HLS or DASH streams) and I switch to another tab for a few seconds, returning to the original tab causes Firefox to freeze or reload the page entirely.

What I’ve observed:

The video player freezes or shows a black screen when I return to the tab

Sometimes the tab reloads on its own and the video restarts from the beginning

Happens on both Wi-Fi and mobile data

Tested with multiple streaming sites, including our own (https://xupertvhd.co) app’s web player

Clearing cache and disabling add-ons didn’t resolve it

Using the latest version of Firefox for Android

I’m trying to understand:

Is this a known issue with Firefox’s background tab behavior or media playback engine?

Is there any setting that prevents Firefox from suspending or unloading media tabs?

Would enabling “desktop mode” or changing the media hardware acceleration setting help?

I can share logs or specific URLs if needed. Thanks!

Hi recently my phone got stolen and while im unable to afford a new one im using a samsung tablet model SM-T705Y which is not new and only tunning android 6, it cant even get a version of the youtube app that will work so i have to watch them on the website. This was all good until a few days ago when it just started coming up with a error message. Please help. Thanks, Travis.

Currently I am using samung S 20 ultra. When i play a youtube video in firefox in landscape mode it play with black bars on both side of the video, means video doesn't fill the whole screen of the phone. Please add an option to do this.

From 3 days ago suddenly I could not play YouTube videos as before (I could still play YouTube live stream) on my Samsung tablet. In the player window it said that there's a play error. Do not know what's the problem.
