Hello: FF 140.b9 64b w11p. Are there ANY search engines (not nec browsers, just want to do a search in the address bar or search field) that do NOT go to an AI site to search? I want to minimize my use of AI technology, which uses extremely environmentally costly data farms. Thank you.

My C hard drive is almost full. How can I get Firefox to run from the D drive? I tried copying the files there but it would not run. Do I need to edit something in the Registry? I'm using (for as long as I can) Win 10 on a Dell desktop. Latest version of Firefox is installed.

When trying to launch the browser from a network folder, I encounter the errors shown in the screenshots. If I launch the browser on one computer, everything is ok, but if I need to launch it on at least the second one, I encounter this error until I close the browser on the first one. I don’t know what could have happened, because I didn’t touch the configuration and everything worked fine for us last year. Nothing was updated or changed. Firefox Portable ini file configuration:

When I play games like classic.minecraft.net or krunker.io, the pointer speed is very slow. So I would like to know if there is a way to change the pointer speed of firefox.

I am trying to hide the AI results on Google search, but I can only find instructions for Chrome. I prefer to use Firefox, but I loathe the AI results. Is there any way I can go back to the way it was before on Firefox?

Can’t launch Firefox 3.5.19 on Linux Ubuntu When trying to run with:

./firefox

Terminal gives the following:

./firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libdbus-glib-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

This issue came up in early April 2025.

Programs other than Firefox (e.g. Edge, Media Player) behave normally: when playing sound, if nothing is plugged into the 3.5 mm jack, the sound comes from the desktop's external speakers; and when an audio device (speakers or headphones) is plugged into the 3.5 mm jack, the sound instead comes from that device.

Where as Firefox will play using the internal speakers as expected, but when a device is plugged into the 3.5 mm jack, no sound signal goes to that device.

It seems then that the hardware is okay, and the problem must lie within Firefox, or within a Windows setting that is very specific to Firefox.

The sudden onset earlier this month may point to either a Firefox update, or (less likely) a Windows update.

I paid for the adblock premium and now youtube is not even skipping the ads, they just play and firefox doesnt seem to be blocking anything. it was actually better before i paid anything, this feels very scammy. wth is happening?

Just stop sending useless warnings about Australian Government Websites. The BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) provides weather information on request. It is a free service and does not require a subscription.

The Firefox stable desktop taskbar shortcut issue unresolved for many months. Every time clicking on the Firefox taskbar/start shortcut is non responsive or it gives the error class not registered. Firefox nighly/developer do not have this issue. Fujitsu laptop, Widows 11 lates upgrades. Please fix.
