The Firefox main screen has about 2" of space on 3 ides. The icons are so far down (the 4th side) that I cannot read the second line without moving the page up. Many of the web sites I load are off kilter, mostly NYT and Facebook games which always have to be adjusted to a place where they are on the screen correctly. I have spent several hours searching through forums, resetting , refreshing , changing zoom, you name it. I then repeated the process with Gemini, at which point it seemed I only Made the Google search bar smaller but by now I m not even sure.

Since a recent update, the shortcuts on my home page have moved up higher on the home page.

Previously, they were more in the middle of the page.

Is there any way to move them back down to the middle of the page? It just looks off to me. :)

I have dark reader installed, it makes every website dark mode quite efficiently.

However, it cannot make *.mozilla.org dark because those are restricted pages that addons cannot modify.

Even though I have enabled "restricted pages" in dark mode, it does not work.

Is it possible to get rid of the sidebar section at the bottom part of the vertical tabs completely? If so how? Or is it simply not available to get rid of it completely?

I tried to turn off "Show sidebar" in settings, but then it defaults back to "Horizontal Tabs" instead of sticking with "Vertical Tabs", and switching back to "Vertical Tabs" will turn on "Show sidebar" again. And using the sidebar settings/"Customize Sidebar", there doesn't seem to be an option to get rid of it.

I'm using & viewing the most updated Firefox browser on a Windows 10 Pro (64 bit), desktop, 24" monitor screen.

With the current updates, the list of bookmarks in my Bookmarks Bar has become very small, skinny & overly spaced, hampering readability.

Though I have learned how to enlarge the bookmarks font size, using the "about:config" & updating the 'layout.css.devPixelsPerPx' attribute, the font still remains very skinny & overly spaced.

Is there an attribute that I can change to alter the Font Style (for example to "Semi-bold") & Spacing of the bookmarks list? If so, please be kind enough to describe the process & I'll give it a go.

If a Firefox Development Team member happens to be reading this post, I'd like to put in a request to add some Bookmarks Bar "FONT EDITING" tools accessible via the browser SETTINGS dialogue, to accommodate readability on ALL the various OS & computer form factors that have proliferated these days.

My FFox browser has been invaded by PINK EVERYWHERE Get rid of it in the browser. The suggestions do not seem to do anything to get rid of this horrible color. TFFox 151.0.2 64

Black and white works fine in Menu Bar and web addresses when you finally get your act together.

Each time I open Fire Fox, the window in NOT FULL ... I need to select the either F11 or the diagonal with arrow endpoints.

Surely there is a default settings that opens Fire Fox to full window allowing selection of website icons.

When I try to customize the toolbar in Firefox the the browser goes to the customize toolbar / overflow toolbar page. However the page does not have any of the tools just a white blank screen. I did just relently refresh firefox

I don't know why any browser never seems to allow for this. I hate using the mouse wheel to scroll down webpages and always use the scroll bar on the right side. Problem is most of the time it's way to skinny/narrow to be practically used and the bar you use to scroll it up and down - especially on long pages - is so tiny as to be completely unusable. It may not be an issue for tweens who still have eyes like hawks but for older people, like me, it's a pain in the tuchus. I'd like to be able to increase both the size - width mostly - of the slide rail and increase the overall size of the slide bar you use to control it.

My summary says it all. Please explain how to use about:config to stop websites from adding favicons to Firefox browser and how to delete the favicons that are there now.

the menu when i right-click is completely transparent. it only becomes opaque again when i turn on troubleshooting mode. it doesn't go back to normal outside of trouble-shooting mode.

Running Firefox (currently 151.0.2) on Windows 11. I normally have the Firefox window full height of the screen but not full width horizontally. If the PC goes into screen save, when I bring it out of screen save, the bottom of the Firefox window has moved up by what looks like a couple of dozen pixels. The top of the window has not moved, it's just that the vertical height of the window is less than before screen save cut in. If I let the PC go into screen save again, when it comes out of screen save the window has shrunk by a further vertical amount that looks about the same as the first time. And so on...

No other app that I run on the PC has the same problem with screen save, they all retain their size if screen save cuts in. It's easy enough to get the FF window back to full height by moving the mouse to the top of the window until the mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow, and then dragging the top of the title bar down slightly and then back to the top, but it's annoying to have to do this several times a day.

Any suggestions on a fix?
