Hi. I'm still new to Firefox and don't really know the settings very well. I recently switched over to using it and realized that when I use most drop down boxes the background of the drop down menu is black, but the text is white and the selection box (when you hover over the item) is also white. Making whatever I'm hovering over very hard to see. I'm wondering if I have a strange setting turned on or not?

Settings wise I have Firefox set to dark mode, not the auto. But when I use the auto it still happens. Trying it in safe mode it still happens. Iv tried to research this a little myself. And read something about the proton setting and turning that from true to false. But this also did not work.

Is there any way to fix this? I just need the text to be a different color or the selection box (when you hover over it) to be a different color.

Next to the field where a current HTTP:// is entered, there USED TO BE a button allowing me to add another empty search page. Than has vanished. How do I restore it please?

I am still being plagued by the same rainbow loading bar on Firefox, no matter what device I use, yet you play ignorant like "we don't know why, maybe it's a extension you're using" yet I am not the only one who has experienced it, the post from 2011 never had a solution that worked. It is like LGBTQP promotion shoved down my throat. Why can't I remove this satanic Loading/Progress bar? Why? Why? Why?

When I open a private window, my bookmarks sidebar is showing. I can easily remove it but it shouldn't be there. Until very recently, private windows didn't have the bookmarks sidebar. I don't know why this started but I would like to find some way to have the bookmarks sidebar NOT automatically appear when I open a private window (but of course I want to continue to have bookmarks automatically appear in regular Firefox windows). I've looked online and tried various methods that were supposed to work, but they don't. Can you tell me how I can fix this (minor) problem? Thanks.

When using Firefox browser on my new Windows 10, when I click on "History", the background screen color is sometimes black and sometimes white. I want it to always be white. How do I do that?

Do Firefox browsers can change app icons? If not I requested to developer to enhance and upgrade the apps across the platforms. Other browsers can make that feature. I hope developer see my question and fix this.

Recently all my 100 plus Bookmarks all went to Grey Globes. Never had this issue in years with Firefox. I am working on Mac OS desktop version Ventura 13.7.5 and Firefox 140.0.4. How do I get all my bookmarks to come back to normal? I tried hard refresh and cleared my cache.

hello. i downloaded firefox from official void linux repo, and have issue with font rendering or smth. in settings option "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" is enabled. don't have same issue in any other gtk apps on my system.

After the most recent update, all of my Firefox tabs, bookmarks, and general UI fonts have gotten larger. Is this intended or a bug? There are not options that I know of to reduce the size of the fonts to how it looked previously either.

Since Mozilla made Firefox Beta's update (B141.05), a few days ago, most fonts (.ttf's) and icons (.ico's) are matching the same color as the background (.bmp's) of the pages. Who else has noticed so? This does not help any user on any system. Connect.Mozilla.org - Who Agrees that Most Fonts are Camouflage to Websites?

Hi Please could someone help me re-order my firefox toolbars. Previously I managed to arrange them in the order I prefer, but an update seems to have destroyed the order again, and I can no longer find the web page which explained how to do it. reading from the top, I would like to see: • Title bar • Menu bar • Navigation toolbar • Bookmarks toolbar • Tabs toolbar • Web content area

Instead I have • Title bar • Menu bar • Tabs toolbar • Navigation toolbar • Bookmarks toolbar (I even seem to have lost this now and don't know how to get it back!) • Web content area Thanks for any help that can be provided. Brox

There is no customization panel under settings/home. can you please tell me where can i find the customization panel? I want to reset the wallpaper to default.
