Installing firefox on my new device: Not all of my bookmarks are uploading from firefox on my other device.

It uploads a really old version of the tool bar even tough it shows in the HTML folder I am importing from my other device that the updated links are in the tool bar category.

I'm trying to diagnose an unusual problem on a relative's computer elsewhere in the country via TeamViewer. When Firefox is initiated, the same picture (a man taking a shower) appears, and the VERY 'long URL starts with a Yahoo image file (yimg) and also contains buzzfeed.com well into that URL. I thought I could easily diagnose this, and have failed. Home page is set to blank page. I cleared all browsing data. When that failed I exported bookmarks, created a new profile, and the problem still continued, even before importing the bookmarks or adding any extensions. Something is retaining the unwanted startup behavior. Tonight, out of desperation, I will reconnect and look through the registry.

Can anyone surmise why an unwanted URL is being invoked upon Firefox startup?

I noticed that the "recently closed tabs" hustory remains available even after quitting firefox, when quitting should erase history.

This is counterintuitive. I would like quitting to clear also the recently closed tabs.

Would you like to consider this for the next version update?

I get three grey boxes at the top right of the Firefox start-up page. See the attached image. They dissappear if I search and enter another web page. The only way I can get rid of them is to reset Firefox. They return within 24 hours.

What are they and how can I get rid of them?

This feature/option is not working. I close with multiple tabs open, and restart and only the generic search/home page is there. It is tedious to have to reopen if many tabs have been used.

When I opened Firefox today, it asked me which profile I'd like to use. I named one Katy and then continued. Now, I can't see any of my bookmarks, none of my passwords are saved, none of my sites recognized. I've been using Firefox for years. Everything I have is saved there. I just want my old stuff back. I'm signed in on my account, but can't see another profile that I can choose. My phone still has all the passwords and bookmarks from before but I I can't see what profile I'm signed in under. Can anyone help?

Just wanted to ask about the potential for other Ai providers - Duck.ai being the key one missing.

Is there a possibility of local instances being a feature? Whether it's just hosted locally (not a function or component of Firefox itself) or a Mozilla specific model that's locally run?
