I have the latest version of Firefox. I still keep getting the prompts to download the latest version. When I go to system info, it shows I have the latest version it is asking me to download. When I do a manual search for the latest version, it always says it failed to search for the latest download.

I've tried messing with hardware acceleration, resetting the zoom to 100, it seems when i get the zoom as low as possible it tries to fall back into place, i can't find any fix on this, i like this browser but i cant watch anything like this

youtube goes fulscreen but not in the richt way i can see the video fully but it does not cover my sreen fully an the under part of my screen it is not posting see image for a better picture

Recent (Windows?) update signed me out of Firefox. Logged in again, but bookmarks aren't showing up. Bookmarks are marked for sync-ing, and I did try sync-ing twice. Maybe I have to sign back in on the original device?

Mozilla made an update of my Firefox installation on my Win11 laptop. all my password disappeared as well as my history and bookmarks.

I have now a virgin installation and is starting from scratch.

Now I get this error message: "This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile." I deleted met shortcut and I opened Firefox by using Windows search. Now I see 4 profiles! I think I do not need to create a new profile. Maybe delete 3 of them ? What to do ? And, how?

I have downloaded this plugin, but I cannot find any advice on how to operate it. I have opened a page (which I have created) rendering part of a high res iiif image, whose whole iiif pyramid is available for viewing. But I cannot find any button that activates the plugin.

The plugin promises "With this addon installed, you will be able to download the highest available resolution for files available on digital libraries compatible with the IIIF protocol."

How can I download the whole high res image?

I have configured Firefox to use a proxy, and I stored the credentials in the password manager. However, every time I open Firefox, it asks me to enter the credentials again.

How can I store the proxy credentials persistently?

Within the Applications section of my settings, I have it set to open content type of crcc with an application. However when I try now after the latest Firefox update, it opens a new blank tab instead of just launching the application. Anyone else notice this and is there a work around. Of note, after about 5 minutes it does eventually open the application.

Hi, I use Firefox as a primary browser on multiple PCs, so want it to remember a couple of addresses & payment methods for easy daily useage. However, I also access one business domain & when using that website only, I don't want Firefox to offer/remember/anything when it comes to addresses (which will be customer addresses) or payment details (again, for customers). Other autofill, like suggestions for some form fields would ideally still work.

Is there are way to make one domain exempt from address & payment saving/retrieval?

My local network is 10.10.10.x and I can't log into my NAS, web server or another computer on the local network... Internet access is fine. Happens on Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

If I access the same web address using Safari or Chrome it works just fine and it used to work before the software update to the 147 build.

So what switch/setting got kicked over during the upgrade that I have to turn off?

These kind of issues really make me mad at the Firefox Dev team... and I'm a very long time user.

This problem has been covered in this forum before. However, the various solutions have not worked for me because it seems my backup previous.jsonlz4 was corrupted. I did exit Firefox normally, but I am not sure because I have been using multiple different browsers in recent months.

This is what happened this morning: my Firefox on Mac OSX was closed normally, and I rebooted the MacBook. Afterwards, I could not restore old tabs because "Recently Closed Tabs" and "Recently Closed Windows" are greyed out.

I tried copying recovery.jsonlz4 from the last folder and putting it into the main folder as sessionstore.jsonlz4, then reopening Firefox. Still have no restored tabs. Here was the surprise, which I do not know how to interpret.

I just checked some files and found this error message in sessionrestore-logs folder:

My firefox broswer is starting super slow since the last update. I am on a windows 10 lap top running McAfee anti virus software.

In my task manager there are multiple firefox icons running. See the attached screen shots.

I copied one of the crash report into the note section below.

If any one know show to correct this slow start up pleas let me know.

Hello, I'd like your help. I'd like to disable some unnecessary options from the Firefox right-click menu. 1. Open link in new tab 2. Open link in new container tab 3. Open link in new private window 4. Save link as 5. Copy link I don't need these five options, so I'd like to disable them if possible.

Every time I open more than a couple of tabs, a Firefox pop-up asks if I'm overwhelmed; I'm not. How can I make it stop? (I have already unticked Recommend features in Settings and set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.asrouter.userprefs.cfr.features to False.) Equally annoying is the constant 'Summarise page' feature reminder. I have certainly Got It! by now.
