Firefox 3.6.13 will not open new tabs with File New Tab, Ctrl+T or the '+' tab to the right of others. Only right click - 'open link in new tab' works. What's wrong?

  1. Go to Tools, Addons, Extensions,
  2. select Ask Toolbar,
  3. click uninstall or disable,
  4. restart Firefox.
