Firefox on Linux
I use Debian Linux as my workhorse. I accept what Firefox derivatine is supported by Debian. Nevr bother to upgrade or sign up (wish to be annonymous not for any political reason but my nature). I am very opn in the WWW. Use Google's Blog spot. By the way I use many browsers including Falko, Dillo and Epiphany. My Question is Do I have to Upgrade Firefox and Regiser with Firefox evry time I upgrade ?

Hi
There is no need to sign into a Mozilla Account to use Firefox. Debian ships with the extended support release variant of Firefox as standard and that is perfectly fine to use. I know that Debian is due an update very soon and the copy of Firefox in it will be updated late this year.

Firefox is a web browser and not a company, service, search engine or such.
There is no need to sign up or register with anything in order to use the Firefox web browsers including on desktop Windows, macOS and Linux.
There is the Mozilla Account system though it is not needed in order to use the Firefox web browser on Linux. What the Mozilla Account is used for (formerly called Firefox Account til Nov 2023) https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/access-mozilla-services-firefox-account
