I updated the latest ver of FF for windows 7 professional and it no longer saves passwords(AND I checked the right boxes).

What do you mean by example? All the sites I used to save, none are saved when I hit the save button. I just had to reload Windows 7 Professional OS because of my computer crashing. I lost everything on the C drive where the OS resided. All my other programs that used to run, no longer run because there are DLLs missing. I'm thinking this maybe the case here too. Paul
