I'm a new Thunderbird user and my question is the simple one typed into the "Summarize your question" box. There doesn't seem to be an appropriate topic, so please excuse the "off-topic" topic.

For the last two days, every time I start Thunderbird, a pop-up requests me to log in into Google Calendar. I have followed what little advice I can find:

• Unsubscribed/deleted all calendars
• Deleted all Gmail Accounts
• Deleted all saved passwords, and re-entered them only for my current email accounts.

How do I get rid of this irritating and unnecessary pop-up? I have updated to v128.14 but the problem persists.

The Thundebird calendar in month/week view cannot display a full week next to each other. (full width image attached) No matter what I tried. I tried to minimize the left panel (left panel minimized image attached). That barely gives me the saturday added. But still no sunday. If I select a specific sunday from the list of events above, then the whole panel moves to the right, thereby hiding the monday (attached image shifted right) I have even tried to decrease the font used

Is there any way to get all 7 days visible? Is there some magic trick to decrease the width of the week/month view. Why is this not a dynamic view? Workweek = 5 days, week = 7 days

Thunderbird version is 1.52.0

Since this morning (8:00 CET) I have to enter password for my google calendar every time I start Thunderbird. No matter what authentication options I choose, calendar manager keeps asking me to authenticate. "Don't ask again" is turned on. Gmail is set up as OAuth for both incoming and outgoing servers, and it works fine.

Things I've tried since:

- Removed legacy connection in password manager, when I was using IMAP to connect to Gmail - Revoked OAuth permission from google account for Calendar and from Thunderbird password manager - Unsubscribed from calendars and added them again after restarting Thunderbird

I don't know what more to do. Also, I don't know what happened, really, as it worked properly last night.

Just shortly Thunderbird always asks for verifying the Google-Calendars when starting Thunderbird.

I already tried to change it to ical via private Calendar-address...

Why is this suddenly happening and how to resolve?

Good morning, for some time now, appointments on the calendar that were scheduled before I open Thunderbird have been “forgotten” and don't appear. For example: an appointment (or memo) at 8:00 a.m.; I open Thunderbird at 9:00 a.m., and the appointment doesn't show up. Thank you.

I just upgraded from thunderbird 140 to 152 on Windows 11. I have master password setup.

Every times I start thunderbird, calendar keeps asking for authentication ( oauth ) , I did login successfully and was able to view and modify my events.

After a couple of startup I decided to click on the close button of the oauth authentication windows for calendar. I still able to see and modify my calendar successfully. Is it a bug or I miss something in the calendar settings  ?

I don't know what to do when February 29 is in my calendar, 2026 is not a leap year. I've found nothing to help me. I have the latest version if Thunderbird. Thanks

Dear all,

For aprox. 3 weeks now Thunderbird asks me a short time after startup for a login.

It shows up a dialog with the text : "https://caldav.gmx.net verlangt einen Benutzernamen und ein Passwort."

The problem is, that I maintain several GMX - accounts and I've no idea, which credentials I have to enter :/

How can I find out ( without inspecting or debugging the source code ;-) )

Not sure how it happened but I've suddenly lost access to my Google calendar. On the bar on the left side of my calendar display screen there is a list of two calendars, Home and my email address, which I think is a Google calendar. Even though I check "Show all calendars" it does not show my email address calendar. And if I click on only to show my email address calendar it shows nothing at all. On my Pixel cell phone I can still see both the Home calendar and the Google calendar, so I guessing Thunderbird has just lost the link, although it shows a googleapi address when I click on properties. When I accept a Zoom calendar listing it has always and still shows up on the Home calendar. This seems most mysterious. Anyone have an idea of what I should do? Is there anyway I can rebuild the link to the Google calendar?

Exported ical file from Google Calendar and then went to import into Thunderbird. This previously worked in the same installation. The import failed and the error console displayed the attached message. Restarted Thunderbird. Calendar showed ready and is not read only. Same problem.

Trying to sync my outlook and gmail calendars in Thunderbird 140.10.1 and consistently getting an error I haven't seen before: "status.Settings.138". The today pane shows the incorrect date details. Today it shows Thursday 23 March 2018. Today is Friday 23 March 2018. When I open the calendar it shows today is Thursday 22 March 2018 and the date in the panel at the bottom right hand corner shows 22 and not 23.

In version 149.0.1, the calendar layout seems to have changed so that, in the week view, the days are rows instead of columns. Is there a way to change to days being columns? The new layout really does not work for my events. I have short events that now can't be read at all because the event is too short to display any part of the event title.

Hi,

I'm not sure how, but the default orientation of my calendar items in day or week view is stuck on horizontal. I don't remember any express change that I made, and combing through the settings and online research has not yielded a solution. I'm not sure how to switch it back, and it's pretty inconvenient!

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
