SIMPLIFY THUNDERBIRD IT IS EXCESSIVLY COMPLEX. I CANNOT EVEN SEE HOW TO MOVE MESSAGES FROM THE INBOX TO THE RELEVANT FOLDER IN MY LIST. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE FIREFOX AND THUNDERBIRD ARE OVERCOMPLEX AND NEED SIMPLIFIED. SIMPLES. WHY CANT I COPY AND PASTE THE VERSION NUMBER. BLOODY ARESHOLES . AS I SAID IT IS BLOODY OVERCOMPLEX. AT THIS POINT I AM CONSIDERING GIVING UP ON WHAT IS CLEARLY AN OVERCOMPLEX PIECE OF SOFTWARE THAT REALLY DOESN'T LOOK GOOD EITHER AND THERE IS NO OFFICIAL SUPPORT SO WILL HAVE TO LOOK FOR AN ALTERNATIVE. COMPLETE WASTE OF SPACE TOO MANY COOKS SPOIL THE BROTH COMES TO MIND THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE HERE

Hi I am having problems signing into or adding my tpg account email address through both outlook and thunderbird. My address and passwords are correct and I have used the settings in both email programs as listed by the messaging company. The error message I am getting is that on thunder bird it cannot find the settings for my emaill account and on outlook it cant find the settings. I have had ongoing issues with my tpg account, this one is a pop3, since the messaging co took over the emails when tpg moved them to there. Issues are that i get very sporadic emails ie one week working the next nothing for long periods of time. I can successfully add gmail accounts to thunderbird and outlook without problems but the tpg one is my issue. I can get tpg emails through the gmail app on my phone with pop 3 settings but nothing on thunderbird. I have contacted the messaging co for help but other than settings they cannot help and suggested coming to thunderbird for help. I prefer to use thunderbird as my email program to have everything on one would be great again. Can anyone offer advice or assistance I would greatfully appreciate it

I want to use Thunderbird for transferring email folders from my Yahoo email account. I have no idea how to do this. Simplify, please. Not computer savvy. Thank you in advance

I was adding some filters for senders to move emails to my local folders and such, and then I ran the filters. For whatever reason, when I ran the filters this time, thunderbird also seemingly deleted all emails from some of my web email inboxes. The only one that wasn't affected by this inbox wipe was my school email(gmail provider). How can I prevent this from happening again?

I have to find a new email carrier. 1) Is there a cost to Thunderbird email and is it the same as Thundermail? 2) Can I transfer my current email messages to be saved? 3) Can I use Thunderbird mail inside of Microsoft Outlook like is the case with my current email? 4) And current email is embedded inside of Gmail on my mobile phone. How would Thunderbird work on my phone?

I am trying to add my new email address to the thunderbird app for Windows and running into issues syncing it through IMAP settings. The process seems to go smoothly until it gets to the point where I have to enter my email password. After I enter my password and hit "continue" I get the following error message:

Component returned failure code: 0x804b000a (NS_ERROR_MALFORMED_URI) [nsIIOService.newURI]

I have attached the screen shots of my process, as well as the IMAP and SMTP settings from my email provider.

Any help I can get in troubleshooting this error would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a lot of trouble with moving my years of POP mail accounts to a new computer using IMAP.

I'm starting with my mail AOL account but Synchronizing TB the web account folder structure just isn't working. My initial installation went fine, but I can't seem to modify the folders and use message filters.

The initial installation basically duplicated the web account folder structure automatically, but making modifications isn't working.

I can't even delete test folders I set up on TB. I select them and try to delete, but they never are deleted. On IMAP accounts, how does the sync work?

My pop email has stopped collecting email, so I guess there is no turning back at this point.

HELP! My inbox "SUBJECT" and "FROM" are not matching. Thunderbird keeps jumbling my emails in my inbox so that the sender's email does NOT correlate to the correct email they sent... The order of the different columns in the inbox do not lineup - Thunderbird changes the sender name, or the subject. Hope that makes sense. For example I click on an email from my boss regarding a shift and an email from Voile skis comes up about some new products. The subject is the same one that is in the email but the "FROM" is my boss' email! Please help, I have quit re-opened, opened in "troubleshoot" mode, made sure I am in the newest update, etc. Thanks

I have used Thunderbird with the same email account for years, creating subfolders and moving emails to the subfolders with no issues.

With Thunderbird 153.0.1, after creating a new subfolder in the account, when attempting to move emails to the new folder, I receive the following error:

"Thunderbird: The current command did not succeed. The email server responded: APPEND invalid flag list"

Hi, I was trying to find a particular email and was playing with a couple of filters. I ended up with all of my inbox in alphabetical order. In other words, all the senders' names starting with A are at the top, and conversely all the Z' s are at the bottom. How do I put them back in the order received please? Many thanks, John.

My correspondents keep getting shuffled and applied to the wrong subject line in the inbox. It was suggested that I right-click on the folder, select "properties" and then "repair." That clears it up, but only for a matter of hours. Plus, any emails that I have open get closed and then I have to find them again.

One person who suggested that I right-click the folder and repair it said if that didn't work, there was a more technical fix. I need it!

Thunderbird 128.7.1esr (64-bit) on Windows 10 PC. Upon going to my Sent Folder, I find only 2 emails (both sent today) rather than the several thousand that were there previously. This may have occurred due to a power outage system shutdown. Regardless of the cause, the problem exists. I tried to compact the folder with no success. I tried to repair the folder (under folder properties > general information > repair folder) with no success. Still only 2 emails are shown in the Sent Folder. BUT the emails still exist, because when I use the Quick Filer to search for a person to whom I've sent emails, the old emails show up! So how can I get all these "invisible" emails to be visible in the Sent Folder? Thanks for your help on this! Rich

recoverable? reportable? If too much trouble, say so and I can let it go. previously they were populated with titles and email content no relief after compressing folders, nor using safe mode. rlse: 153.1.0esr on Win10 home 22H2 19045.7663
