I have many rare bookmarks. This time I sell my old laptop and rent another laptop. The laptop rental a strange windows version (probably a hack one) and some strange apps (like 360 what what), I uninstalled the 360 what what apps. Then I downloaded and installed firefox and open all bookmarks become 365whatwhat. I did not care it so much, I logged in my firefox account, but the bookmarks did not change! I click sync, all the bookmarks are still 365 or 360 whatwhat. All my previous bookmarks are lost. How to recover?

I'm used to typing one or two letters into the address bar and then the down arrow to access the same handful of websites every day. A few weeks ago, Firefox started randomly moving these around so that the same letters that have always made it open the same URL now opens a different URL and I have to actually search the suggestions. How can this annoying behaviour be fixed?

(a few months ago, the address bar wouldn't delete entries, but this problem vanished as mysteriously as it appeared)

hello firefox support, i recently signed into firefox on desktop but now i cant seem to remeber the account password so after making a new password after clicking on forgot password ,will i lose my bookmarks and ad-ons and all the customized settings? pls help me in this situation i dont want to lose my data pls .

I have made Firefox my default browser, and set Google as my default search engine.

I'd like to keep it that way, BUT ...

Every morning when I come to work and open my browser and begin to search .. Yahoo comes up .. or Bing ???? I delete them, and again set Google as the default ... BUT FIREFOX CONTINUES TO REVERT TO YAHOO, or BING SEARCH RESULTS  ?!?!?!?!?!?

Even when I deliberately open Google and search in Google .. the results appear and then suddenly, a new window pops up with Yahoo results, covering up the Google results????

How can I make Firefox respond to the default search setting I choose????

This is intolerable. If I can't get ride of Yahoo and Bing and all these other inferior search engines, then I'm going to go back to using Chrome.

When on the Princess Cruise web site looking at various cruise options, the Firefox browser will not let me open the list of excursions for the ports on the cruise that we were looking to book, but I can see them when using Google Chrome. Why won't Foxfire allow me to view the excursions - it use to allow me to see them.

We are using a website designed for Firefox, and when we use the "print" function within the website tool bar, on one of our PCs, it always defaults to a print preview which states "Printing from Win32 Application - Print". We have "print.always_print_silent" set to true, on this and all of the other PCs using the website, but only this PC has the issue. We can't figure out what is making it pop up the print preview.

I accidentally ticked the "don't allow [site] to show new windows" (I'm browsing in Spanish, forgive me if this isn't how it's written) box and now one of the functions of the site stopped working because it requires the user to confirm their decision via the pop up window. I'd like to know how to revert this. I've given the site special permissions for pop ups and it hasn't worked.

How do I print a document from email, without the sidebar showing? It doesn't show up on the copy but it moves the document way over to the right with only 1/2 of it showing. I have been getting a message that says firefox has something running and cannot shut down. I went into task manager and 'shut down' firefox, but the message keeps on coming. I then thought that I would uninstall it and then reinstall, but it tells me that it cannot uninstall because it is running, -"Firefox is already running but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." When I click on ' Close Firefox' nothing happens. when I click on 'Cancel' the message disappears, but will reappear. Then in desperation, I went into program files and deleted the Fifefox folders but it wouldn't reinstall. There is obviously somewhere a file/file which is screwing me up, does anyone know what this it?
