Why is firefox not showing up in my authenticator app???

I saw a previous post that has since been closed suggesting the solution be disabling 2FA authentication - with all due respect to whoever suggested that, I don't think that should be the best solution. I'd like to keep 2FA enabled. I'd just like to know why Firefox doesn't appear in my Google or Microsoft Authenticator apps. I end up having to use recovery codes which makes the process a pain.

Windows operating system crashed and I had to reload it but before I did I coped all my files to an external drive Now Im back up running but need my bookmarks and saved passwords from my old firefox file What folderdo I need to copy from my backup to get my data back Note I can not run the old firefox progrea,

Video in Firefox does not run .. no error messages .. nothing. It works fine in other browsers. When I click on the video .. nothing happens. It used to work but not now and I don't think I've changed anything.

Hello! Google won't keep me logged in onto their services on Firefox, so that means for every time i open up Firefox I have to re-log in. I don't know why this happens, and I want to keep myself logged in onto google services but I don't know how to toggle it. Please help thank u!

Have been unable to view readers comments for a number of weeks and can figure out how to fix. it is not all the time, like last night were available but not this morning. All other browsers there is no issue including DuckDuckGo. Am using Ublock Origin, but have been using for years with no issue, even when turn off result the same.

I have 228 kb of cached web content that will not clear. I am also unable to get past the initial pages of cabelas.com. I can get to cabelas, then click on camping, then click on camp chairs, and that is where it stops. I tried it using microsoft edge and it works fine, so my desktop pc isn't the problem. Sportsmans Warehouse has a similar web site layout and it works fine, so the 228 kb is strictly related to cabelas. The 228 kb of cached web content that won't clear and the cabelas problems started together.

No matter how many times I clear the cookies, data, web cache, that 228 kb stays right there.

If I can find some way to clear that 228 kb, I bet cabelas will again work.

On the iPhone and iPad it is possible to automatically open a desired URL when opening a new tab. But is it seriously not possible to do this on a Windows PC? It doesn't make sense to me, as browsers on PCs usually have more functions and mobile browsers have fewer functions.

Hi, having an issue where new tabs crash while browsing.

Will be fine for 30 minutes or so but opening a new tab/clicking on a bookmark leads to Gah. Your tab just crashed.

Using a working tab is OK as long as I stay on the same site.

All drivers are updated.

Once it happens, I close my browser and I am then fine for a while.

Removed all themes/add-ons in case of conflict but still same issue so re-added.

Any advice appreciated.

When I open Firefox browser the browser restsets and changes color to pink in the web address line. I have asked this question before. Is there someone technically familar with Firefox that can resolve this issue?

ok what im having issues with is is kixeye.com.... instead of this site it keeps going to https://m.kixeye.com/. instead of www.kixeye.com. there is no option to change it to the desktop site like when im on my phone

any help rectifying this would be a great help

When I try to access Developer Community from Visual Studio 2022 ('Send feedback' 'report a problem') the banner displays with selection items but no content is displayed. This has been a problem for several months (years maybe). I now have a problem that I cannot solve and I need to report it and I cannot if content is not displayed.

I started getting "can't load XPCOM" errors when starting Firefox. I did a full uninstall, then attempted to install the new version, I still get the same error during the install.

The website mylotto.co.nz has been blocking Firefox for many months now and when I rang them to find out what the problem is they just say they are having problems but it was obvious that the person there was reading a script and fobbing me off. This has been going for many months now a problem would have been fixed by now. I would like to know if you can bring pressure to bear on them to get reinstated again. I have attached a screenshot of the message from their site. Thanking you. Murray

The behavior began with fifteen to twenty crash messages appearing. After which the browser would stop responding and be unable to reach out to the internet.

Network connectivity was confirmed as I was able to access my VPN and corporate teams.

I submitted as many crash reports as I could. Eventually the crash reporter ceased to function. The message is:

Firefox had a problem and crashed. Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash.

Only a full reboot of the machine restored functionality but only temporarily. It returns after being put into sleep mode.

Running firefox in safe mode does not restore functionality. The behavior persists.

I am fully up to date according to firefox.

I am running a Lenovo Thinkpad Windows 11.

I have avg vpn. My firefox settings have a notice that "your browser is being managed by you organization. Can you please confirm this is avg vpn and not an unauthorized third party?
