I'm on Win11. The recent releases of FF seem to have disabled my ability (while in FF) to bring my mouse to the lower area of my screen to have the Win11 lower task bar appear. In order to get here, I have to shrink FF via it's upper right hand shrink button, then in the Win11 home screen bring my mouse pointer down to the lower screen area to popup that task bar. Gemini suggests there's a compatibility setting related to issues with high res screens that FF has... but I can't find this switch/setting... maybe Gemini is hallucinating about this. (Curiously, Gemini insists that this is not a FF issue... despite the fact that it's the only app on my PC having this issue).

I have two problems:

1. After importing bookmarks from html file i can not see them under search bar. only i can see them when clicking on Show your bookmarks /Ctrl+Shift+O/. Bookmark toolbar is checked into Always show Where is the problem?

2. Blank shortcuts of some websites, i tried to fix it with all methods but failed like: Deleting the IconCache.db file then restart windows explorer Command prompt sfc /scannow Command prompt dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth Disable tablet mode and Widgets

When I use 'Manage Bookmarks' and the Library to delete bookmarks and bookmark folders in addition to cleaning up duplicate bookmarks, the deleted folders and bookmarks automatically reappear in my Bookmark sidebar 1-2 hours later.

Initially, I had sync on but did not have Bookmarks checked for syncing. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared. Then I turned off sync for this browser / machine. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared.

I tried to see if there was a setting that enabled automatic restores of bookmark backups - but could not find one to turn off. I have tried refreshing the installation and starting again - using a one-time sync from another machine - but continue to be unable to permanently delete old / obsolete / duplicate bookmarks and folders.

I've also tried 2 Bookmark clean-up extensions. While I am able to delete duplicates and empty folders using these tools, 1-2 hours later they are back in the Bookmark sidebar.

Is there anyway to prevent the automatic restoration of the Bookmark Library?

Hi, there - Over the last few months, I've noticed some things that make it impossible to get to websites. I keep getting "Secure Connection Failed," for example, with getting to Chewy.com. I just tried to sign into the ssa.gov website, but it comes back repeatedly as "403 forbidden." And another big one is trying to get to outlook.com. It never fully loads. I cannot get my email. I've been having to use Edge more and more, and I don't like that for privacy issues. Also, sometimes I cannot finish buying things on some websites without changing over to private browsing. Thanks.

I am in the process of migrating to a new Windows 11 PC. I am a long-time user of Firefox and have version 126.0 - 64 bit on my old PC. On my new PC I apparently downloaded it from the Microsoft Store during all my software installs. That version shows as "Windows MSIX Package Mozilla – MSIX – 1.0”

Are there differences between the 2 versions and should I do anything such as reinstalling from Mozilla?

I have used a free Hit Counter for many years that I got from https://www.freecounterstat.com/

I have 3 such counters and have stopped working in the latest version of Firefox on my desktop. They work with Firefox on my iPad and Android phone. They also work fine if I use the Edge Browser but I prefer using Firefox as I have for many years.

Hello, so when I watch youtube on FF my cpu usage goes up alot and the fans go nuts. I have a very capable i5, rtx3070 machine and this issue started just a couple of days ago. I have not done any changes or updates which could trigger this problem. The problem starts mainly when I Watch in full screen mode or have multiple non-fullscreen vids active. All other apps show no signs of problem. I can watch the exact same video in Edge, no fans/high cpu, VLC works fine, Chrome is OK, it's only in FF that the problem occurs.

I have tried the following: 1.Reinstalling FF 2. Activating HW acceleration in FF and forcing it in Windows11 3. Theatre mode is off and all other YT settings are off. 4. Updated Nvidia and windows 5. FF is the latest version. 6. Disabled all my addons/plugins

No clue what can cause this..

I have syned my account to santhuusanthosh51@gmail.com like bookmarks passwords Etc., Today i have formatted laptop and reinstalled laptop and logged in with same same account it shows no data in it like history Bookmarks and password.

please help me to get it back.

I have installed the German language extension . I can go to a sight written in German and it translates fine . THE SECOND I USE ANY SUB MENU WITHIN THE SIGHT IT DOES NOT TRANSLATE . right clicking and "translate" does not work since "translate" does not exist on the tab .

The firefox translate feature only works on the initial screen !

I can find no setting to fix this

In release 126.0 (64-bit) in Windows, persist logs in developer tools is not working for me. I've tried selecting and deselecting all the combinations in both settings areas in the split console, quitting the browser in between. Is there a new place to set this?

Today while using firefox all my open tabs and windows crashed. Due to the situation, I had to restart my computer because everything was stuck. When it restarted I couldn't restore the previous session so I used various methods to restore it but I still can't restore the windows and tabs that were open today. I would like you to restore my session from before the failure today.

I just accidentally deleted my account and i just can't remember my password but i don't want to reset my password because my data could be deleted and i have no backups and no other way to get my account back besides resetting my password

Earlier I tried to open firefox to go on the net and Bing came up. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled and the same happened. Then I deleted the Firefox folder fron the hard drive and then reinstalled Firefox again. This time it opened correctly. I can only assume but don't know, the Bing thing came about through one on the windows 11 updates. How can I stop this from re-occuring or can I? I only ever use Firefox, its just the best, thank you.

PS: I did have Firefox as my default browser but Firefox still became Bing. Lis
