All fonts are being represented in bold by default in Firefox 4, why?

I am a web developer who recently upgraded from 3.6 to v4 of Firefox and I'm getting some rather strange font behaviors.

I have a page where the CSS specifically states:

font-family: Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style:normal; font-weight:normal; line-height:18px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; color:#CCC;

However, the font appears in Firefox 4 as bold (it does not do so in 3.6, nor Chrome, IE or Safari). Furthermore, assigning the 'bold' attribute to fonts (i.e. in a jQuery toggleClass() kind of way) makes no discernible difference in the font, indeed pointing to the fact that as far as firefox is concerned, it's bold. If I scale to 13px or 12px it doesn't appear bold. I've checked my settings and I am using the page fonts if provided, and I can find no 'bold' on anywhere in the fonts that are chosen when the page doesn't provide them.

Win 7 64-bit machine - haven't tested other versions of OS/Browser combinations (aside from a Mac with Firefox and Safari on it and they both look good, and a win XP with Firefox 3.6 and it looks good - just 4.0 seems to be bugged?!)

   Heh, even the font's here on the support page look all bold come to think of it. Everything is bold... Bold... bold... oh look... bold! lol :)
