I asked the following question and was sent to this answer, which does not apply to current versions of Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1228045 My question: how do save a username on Firefox for a website without saving a password because I do not want to save the password?

This is currently not supported in Firefox, but if you want to leave feedback for developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Share ideas and feedback…. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
