What downloader apps are you referring to here? By default Firefox Browser can't download Youtube video because of their site video Protection that is done by Addon or 3rd party apps only.
It is possible that YouTube (Google) changed its JavaScript and your extension needs an update. You can contact its creator for support, see its page on the Add-ons website.
