That would be something that you should contact Xfinity support as to why it's doing that change?

Usually, there's an option on that Settings page to take back control but, just in case, I'll also mention how to review add-ons below the line. (B) Has the Xfinity page taken over as the new tab page? By that I mean the page displayed when you press Ctrl+T to launch a new tab. That usually is an add-on issue; more comments below the line. (C) Has Xfinity taken over as your default search engine? The default search engine is the one that Firefox says it will use in the top row of the drop-down if you type some text like ''search this''' in the address bar. If your default search engine lists the one you want to use but results show up on a different site, an add-on might be hijacking your searches. Further discussion below.
