I want to keep Google as my default browser page but the box "firefox is your default" is not possible to change. It is always checked on. When I open, it is fine, I was able to make Google my homepage, but after that, it is dumped. When I go back to the screen from other pages it goes to Firefox browser page. My hotlinks installed on my Google browser don't work either. Youtube links won't play anymore when I click from another platform. I have had an "update your Firefox alert button non-stop for many months now. It is still on even when I update. A "switch seamlessly between devices" window is frozen forever because I don't want to use it and it started when I could not turn it off.

Clear your cache by going to History -> Clear recent history, selecting only the Cache checkbox, and setting the time to "Everything". Refresh about: home and it should fetch new snippets and no longer freeze up.
