Transfer of Local Folders
I have just bought a new laptop and followed the directions to copy my profile across. It did not copy or transfer my local folders though. I have seen some old threads about this but need it broken down very simply please as I am zero technology geek

Which "local folders" do you mean?
The folders that I keep my categorised email s in. These contain emails from several years and accounts that are now inactive. I have attached a partial screenshot.#

Is that a screenshot of your email account or of Windows Explorer? If the former, the folders should still be there. If the latter, those folders seem not to be part of your Firefox data so they need to be copied to your laptop independently.
