How do I stop a Chevy audio ad that occurs and then aborts every few minutes when I have the browser on?
This ad comes on frequently when I'm online, lasts just long enough to sometimes determine that it's a Chevrolet ad, and then cuts off in a couple of seconds. Just a nuisance!

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad / pop-up blocker.
