Firefox will not open after update
A couple days ago I was using firefox and closed it. When I tried to re open it, it said it was installing an update, but never opened when done. Since then when I click on the button to open it, nothing happens. I have tried uninstalling it and re installing it, and using the Profile Manager but the Profile Manager will not open either. I am using windows 7 on a PC.

Do a clean reinstall of the current Firefox release and delete the Firefox program folder before installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- download the Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows Registry and settings in security software.
- do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall the current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (64-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (32-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- it is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling

Your personal data like bookmarks is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you won't lose personal data when you uninstall and reinstall or update Firefox, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.

I uninstalled firefox but when I searched for either:
(64-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\" or (32-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
nothing came up.
I managed to find C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\ and deleted it and reinstalled firefox and it still won't open.
I disabled my avast antivirus temporarily and firefox was able to open but I could not open any pages and nothing would load and it gave it gave me a error code which I took a screenshot of here https://imgur.com/a/SuhuM
please try to run a scan with various other security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & eset online one-time scanner.

I already ran scans and nothing came up.
with all those particular tools already?
I ran the scans yesterday. Malwarebytes, spybot, super antispyware and avast.
Is there any way to fix this? Or is there some issue with the current version of firefox?
as i've said - please run all the tools that i recommended. a number of users said that eset could address the issue where other scanners found nothing: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1181042#answer-1020449 & https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1181381#answer-1020899
