why can't I get the country to stay where I set it ?????

when I go to the little flag in the top right corner to change country it will change only till I change pages then it goes back to my old country page

Is that a flag on the website area or is this a feature added by an extension?

Website settings are usually stored in a cookie or added as a GET parameter or otherwise added to the URL that you see in the location/address bar.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
