Archive sent mail - Where did it go?

Using IMAP.

My mail server has a low mail quota, so I need to Archive frequently, but I use multiple devices so leave what I can on the server.

My archive settings are :- Copies and folders: message archives: Keep message archives in: other: inbox 'mymail' on: Archive (Local folder) Copies and Folders: when sending messages: automatically place a copy in: sent folder on: 'mymail@mydomain' (My IMAP) - the default. Copies and Folders: archive options: yearly

When I select the inbox (on IMAP server), some mails, and click "archive", the mails go where expected (eg, Archive/Mymail/year/ inbox 'mymail') When I do the same for sent items (on IMAP server), the mail just disappears.

Where does it go? How do I get it back?
