I had a problem with the URL Address Bar/search bar redirecting to other url locations or search engines. Mostly related to Google searches. ... I downgraded to Firefox 3.6, problem stopped. This is ether a malfunctioning URL bar in ver. 4 or Firefox is being high jacked by a pluggin or cookie. I had no problem with the same searches and links from IE. When ver 4 gets fixed, I'll upgrade; I've spent 2 weeks trying to fix this myself. The URL address bar does not need to work as a search ber too. There is a separate Bar for that function.
