Googlemaps pixelates and is unusable. Used to be fine.

Whenever I go to google to look for directions or distance between two postcodes, the map loads and for about 2 seconds is fine and then the map window completely pixelates - messing up the graphics. The map is completely unusable. See the screen shot attached.
