Silverlight Plug-in requires update but no update available

Firefox is prompting me to install an update to Microsoft Silverlight but according to Microsoft no update is currently available for my Win-10 64-bit machine, since the most recent patch to Silverlight only addresses issues in MacOS El Capitan. Why is Firefox still persisting in the fact that I need to update my add-on and can I fix that, or is that something that has to be fixed at a higher level?

I currently have 5.1.40728.0 installed on my machine.
