I'm on a private home network with an internet connection. When I try to use Firefox it displays a message saying "You must log in to this network before you can access the internet".

Many websites, e.g. Amazon, won't load and an 'Open network login page' button is shown. When I click this it takes me to a Mozilla page talking about Captive Portal, but there's nothing about how to stop this happening and access those websites.

Other browsers, e.g. MS Edge, or Brave, have no problem access these websites.

How do I fix this problem?

why did you destroy the existing bookmark structure and replace it with something that makes no sense. I have no idea from where you obtained the url's for the stuff that's in bookmark's now. I also do not look forward to having to re-create all of the bookmarks I had in place. I won't be doing that on Mozilla! R Crider

I've never changed things from English and can't find how to change it back. There's a pop up window saying you want to have things in English. Yes I do but I don't want to do it every time I open the browser. Any help is appreciated.

I have just started getting Virus/Trogan messages from McAfee when brousing with Firefox. I have not installed McAfee so is this a blackmailing/SCAM by McAfee to get me to pay?. I only get these messages when using Firefox, It seems to be somthing that's got into Firefox! I don't, at the moment, have this annoyance on my Laptop.

Is days of Yore, we users were asked to tell if a site did not work with Firefox. Now I had to find this forum :-(

I'd like to understand what makes Firefox incapable of playing the film featuring my father from the sixties, two 2 years before he died. For me it is not a real problem, because Chrome waits always in the background to take over. I'd just prefer to let it wait for eternity.

Description: For the past few versions, Firefox has lost the ability to upload folders via drag-and-drop into Synology File Station.

Hi, I recently had to reinstall windows and I lost access to my Firefox bookmarks. I did not manually export my bookmarks before reinstalling and now i couldn't find them in my current Firefox setup. Is there any way to recover my old bookmarks or restore my previous Firefox profile date? can you please guide me on what can I do to retrieve them if possible? thank you.

I am getting the message "updates are disabled by the admin." I am the only one here so I don't know how that happened. I need to install Slack but need to update first. I followed the steps to edit registry but still can't update. Please advise.

Just recently when my main yahoo page comes up it goes blank within a few seconds. It's ok if I bring up Firefox in troubleshooting mode. I constantly have to refresh to get the page back.
