Hi I use Firefox for years (decades probably). How on earth is it possible that after an upgrade (to 151), I had to manipulate about:config in order to allow unsigned extensions to keep working? Of course, I am not dealing with DIY extensions, but with small and unknown extensions as AdBlocker or uBlock origin... It doesn't seem I am the only one... Any explanation will be warmly accepted...

I couldn't log into a site and it was suggested to 'clear cache' as follows: - settings - privacy and security - cookies and site data - clear browsing data BUT only cookies and temp cache sites. By mistake I believe I ticked browsing and download history too, and looks as though it is irrersible? Now I no longer automatically get all the little boxes I used to get for usual regular log ins (eg The Times, Meteo, banks, email etc) I think I can use 'add shortcuts' and re-enter these, but any other suggestions? My Mozilla Firefox browser is not working. It does not open when I try to start it. I have restarted my computer, but the issue still persists. Please help me fix this problem.

Hello, I noticed google rolled out new icons for its workspace. However I use these workspace apps frequently and leave them on my bookmarks bar. For some reason however the docs, slides, and sheets logos respectively have defaulted their icons back to the original google drive icon. making it impossible to tell which is which from a glance. Sorry to bother y'all!

With Duckduckgo set as search engine, if I type a search or go directly to duckduckgo search page the current tab crashes and the "Tab crash reporter" is displayed.

Google, Bing, etc work.

I have Duckduck privacy protections, privacy badger, and ublock origin all disabled for duckduckgo.

I noticed that the World Clock widget includes Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) but does not provide an option for Indian Standard Time (IST). This is surprising given that India has one of the world's largest internet user bases and a significantly larger population than many countries currently represented.

India operates on a unique UTC+5:30 time zone used by over 1.4 billion people, making it one of the most widely used time zones globally. The absence of IST while neighbouring time zones are available feels like a major oversight and reduces the usefulness of the widget for Indian users and anyone who regularly works with Indian colleagues, clients, friends, or family.

Please add Indian Standard Time (IST) to the World Clock widget as a standard option. Its inclusion would greatly improve the widgets global coverage and usability.

Hello- about 6 or 7 months ago I started noticing issues where I will type in a web address or a search term and it will not do anything after pressing enter. Just sit there blank. This does not happen all the time but is happening enough that it is frustrating. for example I could type in bank of america or amazon.com or something like that and it will not do anything. No spinning wheel no anything. I can delete what I typed in and try typing something else and the same thing. I can open a new window and try searching again and it will do the same thing. Then a few minutes later I can try it again and it will work fine. BUT what DOES work always is if I open a new private window and search that way it will always work.

Any thoughts? i've deleted cache/browser history, cookies, un-installed and re-installed. I have the firefox is up to date message. I am using FIrefox 151.0.3 64 bit Using windows 11 Home version 25H2

I use Google as my default search engine in firefox.

I recovered them once by choosing a different default profile. Then the next time I opened Firefox both the saved profiles had no passwords.

I can find the referred files on the desktop, but don't see real steps on what to do with them, and if they're the ones in the now password list-less profiles they will be useless anyway.

I really don't know what to do. It seems every time I open Firefox it updates and half the time I lose all my bookmarks, all the time I have no passwords. Right now I have bookmarks but no passwords on the desktop. I have everything on the Android phone only.

I'm on Windows 10 still on the desktop, but my windows 11 surface pro 8 now seems to have lost passwords, too!

Is there a way to download and not lose anything, then import back to desktops?

I'm afraid to sync, in case the desktop takes precedence and erases all my passwords on my phone!

Title says it. As of yesterday, my Firefox home page shortcuts (6?) are all gone. Restarted my Win 11 laptop a couple of times and no change. Can't even add any new ones. Settings allow for it but issue persists and browser is up-to-date. Shortcuts are one of the best things about using the Firefox browser...so very disappointing.

My cat stepped on my keyboard and now my top bar with my tabs is only accessible when I mouse up to the top, and my taskbar is hidden entirely and can only be seen if I downsize my firefox window. What button combination do I need to press to restore my browser to its previous visibility?
