I cannot find my bookmarks since updating firefox.

I updated to ff4 and gradually lost all of my bookmarks within 24 hours. After 24 hours I had NONE. I tried every trouble shoot but cannot recover. Please help.

This can be caused by a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
