Firefox crashing while using Gmail

Hey there, my Firefox is crashing repeatedly from the Gmail web browser. I have tried starting it in troubleshoot mode, refreshing Firefox, and it is still crashing. It freezes/hangs, then closes. Occasionally the window also changes - it freezes, the Windows start bar disappears and the screen stretches to be slightly larger and fuzzy, then crashes.
