Autofill has been working perfectly fine until yesterday. There's not even a manage addresses in the privacy and security settings anymore.

Autofill card still works, but not addresses.

Greetings. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and started using Firefox again. In order to be more secure and private I am reviewing all of my settings everywhere. I am concerned that the security certificates that are currently in my Firefox are safe, secure and current. I know the internet is worldwide and bad actors can from any country but when I see them from certain countries that does concern me. Is there a way to verify the certificates are good? Is there an harm in deleting certificates? Is there any suggestions of what countries, websites to stay away from concerning certificates? If the validity is expired should I delete it? I do not like to make assumptions. I try to make informed decisions. Thank you, bkh8611@gmail.com

Mod - please delete. I couldn't find a way to delete my question so I edited it. I had an issue but I think it's due to my Firefox being Enterprise managed. I tested the same thing on my personal laptop with Firefox and no issue.

I keep getting Review Your Global Privacy Control preferences message, almost every time I start the browser. I have selected "Don't Allow" option many times and have also went and managed my privacy controls. But, the popup message won't stop coming.

How do I stop the popup message?

I have been Firefox/Mozilla user from the very early days but I am at a point where I have to stop using it because of this annoying popup message.

Hi I have a problem with the configuration of my Firefox. (I hope it is not something more serious like a malware or a security break)

Firefox version 124.0 (64bit) Os: Windows 10 Pro (64bit) 10.0.19045 Build 19045

Step to reproduce

1. 1. I go to: https://wwws.tesoro.es/index.aspx (website of the Spanish gov)
2. 2. I click on the link: Cl@ve in the center of the page (that should bring me to https://pasarela.clave.gob.es/Proxy2/ServiceProvider)
3. 3. I receive an error page "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue" "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER" (see the attached screenshot)

Things I tried

• I followed the same steps on Chrome on the same machine

The website works

• I followed the same steps on the same Firefox in Incognito mode on the same machine

The website DOESN'T work

• I followed the same steps on a completely new Firefox profile on the same machine

The website DOESN'T work

• I followed the same steps on Firefox on a different machine (same Firefox version, windows 11)

The website works

I've been using Firefox and it's saved numerous passwords. However, these disappeared suddenly. Through testing, I discovered they reappear when I restart Firefox in Safe Mode (achieved via about:profiles => restart with adds-on disabled). Yet, re-enabling add-ons (restart in normal mode) causes the passwords to vanish again. Interestingly, disabling the add-ons in normal mode doesn't restore password access.

Looking for solutions or insights.

I am an 84-year-old newbie! I have enabled 2 FA. But... when I click on Firefox in the taskbar F/fox opens and I can access all the bookmarks in the bookmark bar without any more security.

When does the 2FA come into this?

I have been using Windows 10 with Firefox browser and Google/Gmail for many months. I also have been using Norton 360 and other Norton programs for many years. A few days ago, I updated Norton Utilities Ultimate and after update ran it for standard options. Before that update, I could start Google and still be signed in and start Gmail and still be signed in. Now, whenever I close Gmail or Google, I have to sign in whenever I start Google/Gmail. I tried to get help from Norton (see attached chat printout), but they said it was not a Norton problem and to contact Google. When I researched the problem with Google, it indicated that the problem was related to cookies but did not help correct it. I tried Firefox Help and could not find any useful information. I then changed to Google Chrome browser; that works and I can start and stop Google and Gmail and remain signed in. If I go back to Firefox, I still have to sign in every time I start Google. In settings, my default browser setting is greyed out and I have "Your browser is being managed by your organisation". The default browser is locked to Firefox.

I have tried various fixes in these help pages but nothing works to get rid of the default browser lock or the "Your browser is being managed by your organisation."

I delete the key in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies but it repopulates as soon as I reboot.

For information I have TOR browser as well but there appear to be no issues there. Only problems in Firefox

Whenever I am ready to type out my password for my Gmail account using Private on Private window, Firefox asks me to update. Is is legitimate, or Goole is doing something?

Hello everyone! I want to see every visit on a site by date and time. But in library of history it offers me to see only last visit by date(for example if i visited a site for example x.com 200 times - i want to see every date and time of every of these 200 visits, but not only recent). How to do it?

My Firefox browser did not update with daylight savings (this is my first time being in a country with daylight savings with this PC) and now all in-browser times are an hour behind, which is already really confusing for someone experiencing daylight savings for the first time. Now that I do not have a phone, this went from mildly annoying to really messing up my day-to-day life. As a result, I researched, found and followed this question-and-answer proposed solution to my issue but it didn't work. Now, I've been pushed a step backward because I have also lost the ability to view TV shows and movies on third party websites because the player will not load and a 'Website will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it' notice will pop up (image for reference). This is super infuriating due to the fact that my PC is older and genuinely cannot run any kind of chromium browser and Firefox is the only way I can access said third party sites. It would be wonderful is anyone had a solution for both issues; thank you!

I noticed that the shortlinks/websites on my startpage (the House icon) are placing cookies as soon as I start Firefox. Not all of them and also in a random manor. This does not happen in Private Navigation, which i almost never use.

For me this is rather strange, I do not visit these shortlinks and already being tracked by those cookies. How can this be changed?

My settings are to clear all cookies and history at closure. Subquestion: Do I need to choose Options/Close or does this also work by clicking the X in the right upperhand corner to close Firefox.

Hi I've no idea which section this should go.. I'm having an issue when a youtube channel im following sets a live. When I get the card on the desktop for the 30 min timer, I'll click it.. sometimes it will open in a new tab (usually the card just disappears), that's another problem.. Anyway.. If I switch to the new tab at the time the live should have started, it shows the counter reset to 30 minutes.. if I F5 the page it will load the live.. Is there a way to auto start the live when the counter hits zero?

I have moved to another password manager, and would like to completely remove my saved logins from my Firefox account and stop using the auto-fill, auto-suggest feature. However, no matter how many times I delete my passwords and Sync, they keep appearing in my Android Firefox app. I have cleared the app Storage and Cache, I have reinstalled it from scratch, but no matter what I do they reappear. My (also Synced) PC on which I deleted the passwords has not shown it again since I deleted them there.

I just want to completely delete all my logins in my Firefox account, permanently and across all my devices. How can I do this?

When permissions are controlled in the address bar, what needs to happen for you to get an 'Allowed Temporarily' permission? Reference is made to this on the support page https://mzl.la/3zNjX3Z in the 'Use Firefox's address bar' section but it doesn't give any detail on what the 'Allowed Temporarily' option is exactly or how it happens. I didn't get the option to allow or block permissions as shown at the beginning of that page and the permissions icon automatically showed as 'Allowed Temporarily' and I didn't have the permission I wanted. What would have happened there?
