To any one who can help or has any ideas thank you in advance,

I have the Bing search bar set for my home page on my Firefox Browser. I have had this setup for years with no problems until a couple of months ago. When I do searches for things and then try clicking on the "Clickable" links, I always get a blank page and the string for the website address(s) always begin with something similar to this; "https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p="; please see image attached. This happens rather I try opening one or many sites/pages for comparison. Below are the steps I have tried & the reasons I believe that the "clickable" links are the problem.

I type in the Bing bar my search topic. Bing will give me a bunch of links related to my search. If I find the one I want or several I want to check out, I'll click on the 'clickable' link(s) for the page(s). Bing will automatically open the link(s) in a new tab(s). *I do have my browser set to stay on the page that I am currently working on*. But even if I go to those pages right away, I still always get a blank page.

I'll use searching for 'IRS help' for my search example: I have tried several ways to get the links to open & they are as follows:

1) Type in the site address myself in the new Tab and use my keyboards 'Enter' key to go to it: -- This works of course -- But seeing as some address are very long this is not always helpful

2) Click on the 'Clickable' link for IRS's site: -- Bing will open a new tab itself, but will show a blank page with the link issue listed above when I go to it -- Doesn't work, Blank Page

3) Highlight the 'Clickable' link, right click it and select 'Open link in new tab' option: -- Again Bing opens the new tab, Blank page and link issue -- Even selected to open it in a new window and I get the same thing

4) Highlight/copy the 'Clickable' link, I open a new tab myself, then I right click to 'Paste' link and hit enter: -- Doesn't work, blank page

5) Highlight/copy the 'Clickable' link, I open a new tab myself, then I right click to 'Paste & Go" link: -- Doesn't work, blank page

6) I copy the 'Non-clickable' written out address(i.e. IRS.gov/help for example), Paste it in a new tab that I open and the choose one of these options: -- "Paste & Go' or 'Paste' and use my keyboards 'Enter' key. -- Both work, no problem -- But when your in a rush, this too can be time consuming.

Please advise. Is there something I am missing or may have done wrong? I have had Firefox and Bing for a very long time like I said and I truly hate having to use the other browsers, etc. but I need to be able to get things done in a crunch some days and so this is driving me crazy.

i get 'server not found' and 'try again' window when trying to access sites and even within sites if i manage to get on - after several 'try again' clicks

could this be related to recently installed fibre optics or do i have a virus - my anti-virus protection is bitdefenders

So, back in the days when I installed Firefox, it would automatically pin it to the taskbar. When I opened Firefox, the newly-opened Firefox window appeared separated from the pinned icon in the taskbar. I liked this because it allowed me to open new windows faster. Now, I had to uninstall and re-install Firefox (the last version as of today) because of some problem. Now, this separation no longer occurs. If I open Firefox, the opened window and the pinned icon in the taskbar become the same thing. How can I fix this?

I am using Windows 8 Pro btw.

Unable to log in to Quora from GMail notifications on Firefox. While I can log in directly to Quora from Firefox, when I click on notification received on G Mail, I inevitably get the message, "something went wrong. Try again later" I need to get to Quora directly from G Mail. Please help.

Stopped receiving daily Washington Post newsletters yesterday, and they question if Firefox changed something? Is there something new preventing receiving them? If yes, how can I change it to allow the Washington Post e-mails? Thank you!

When I open Firefox I get a message telling me "Failed to read configuration file. Please contact system administrator". When I click OK Firefox opens normally and seems to be fine. Not sure what is going on here. Any ideas why this is happening and how to get rid of it?

why can't "enchanted tracking protection" be disable in about:config. I changed it to FALSE DOES NOT WORK??? I'm 68, I can't keep turning it off to type in passwords. I pay my bills online. I have pay Malwarebytes for protection. It should be optional, not shoved on us. Jazz

Now I have another question -- how does one get rid of a pc shot dead to eradicate Firefox?

Anyone? Huh, No? Then I guess I am 100% correct in shooting the damned thing and going off the grid to never deal with Mozilla again. Hope you all get fire-ants in your pants!

With the latest release of Firefox the Extensions are no longer viewable above the toolbar. One in particular ScrollSave needs to be set (turned on) at the exact scrolled location and now this capability has been lost.

Any suggestions.

I recently accessed Firefox Monitor. Living in Australia we had a large Data Breach from Optus (Phone carrier) in Sept last year. Yet it was not litsed in your list. Please advise

Windows 11 keeps trying to change my browser from FF to their Edge spyware/virus (it asks EVERY time I start FF). I managed to get it stopped once - difficult and time-consuming, but the next Windows update re-installed it. I have used FF for 15 - 20 years and it works superbly for my needs and nothing from MS ever seems to work.

How can I stop this?

Firefox fully updated for fully updated Windows 10 21H2 on HP Envy, 16 GB ram, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz. Only trouble known is that suddenly FF would not operate the Ancestry.com properly after years of everything operating just fine there. Finally swapped browsers to Chrome. That works 100% ok. My problem is that I want to use Firefox not Chrome.

Not exactly sure why but the browser is no longer working for my banking. I first noticed it a week ago when I tried to log in and then ended up calling the bank tech support. They told me to use google chrome instead. I have been using Firefox for years and never had a problem. After researching for latest update changes, I tried changing the settings to allow cookies for the session for the bank but this did not work either. Any idea why this is happening? Thank you. Can someone please help solve this problem. Why am i getting this message below The site concerned is FamilySearch which i have bee using for some years. I am a pensioner who doesn't know much about computers.
