I recently switched from windows to Linux, and was using it for 3 months now. It was due to window recall Feature. But still i was using chrome as default and daily browser. I wanted to explore firefox, its great actually, except 2 things which might need me to switch back to chrome or brave.

1. it don't have fu**king Profile switch, I mean i use 11 Profiles On Chrome, most people still use 2-4 profiles, how can we move to a browser that dont support profiles. I know we can add profiles by "about:Profiles" I tried it. It worked but guess what? To switch profile i have to manually go to that page to launch it. So much time consuming and frustrating. Why not simply add a btn on profile pic like chrome to switch profiles?

2. Add-ons is good thing, but there should be a way to install things from chrome web store, i not found any.

If firefox can fix these two things firefox can simply grow back to 30+ % market share, but if not people will just test l;like me and go.

how are shortcuts created on my "new tab" home page in firefox browser. I used to be able to create the shortcuts I wanted, not random shortcuts that I might have visited once. Now shortcuts appear that I don't want. I know I can remove them by dismissing them but I should not get them in the first place. Please help.

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

Hello, I have a problem with the languages/dictionaries in Firefox (Linux) and would appreciate some help.

Currently the German language is not recognized in the spell checker or is apparently not available.

When I click on the context menu in a language field (right mouse button), only "Englisch (Vereinigte...." is displayed under "Sprachen" (which is "Languages" in the english menu).

However, the German language pack is apparently installed, because when I click on the link to add it in the context menu, the language extension for German already says "remove".

I would also be happy to provide pictures.

Incidentally, the interface in Firefox is already correctly in German.

Deleting cookies, restarting Firefox and restarting the system have unfortunately not helped.

Often, when I go to history and try to restore session..it is greyed out. it occurs randomly, but It ALWAYS occurs after an update. This is so frustrating! It never happened on Edge or Chrome, not once. I know it might seem Karen-like fuming about it, but when you have dozens of important tabs open and they don't restore you too will become a karen. For two days will tab crash for TikTok. For years, will not allow access to certain sites and no contest entries for the last few months. Worked before. Hi, Like many other people I have Firefox setup just the way I like it - a few windows open, some windows with 10 tabs open, my most common pages open as pinned tabs, other windows with stuff I want to remain at the front of memory at least temporarily. The last 3 times I have updated Firefox, it opens without restoring my pages. I look in the History menu and both the 'recently closed windows' and 'recently closed tabs' items are greyed out. I really, really don't want to move away from FF, but this behavior is beyond frustrating. I've already checked I have 2 profiles: default and default-release (default). I tried 'Launch profile in new browser' for the other profile but it's empty. Any ideas how to figure out what the problem is? I'm on Windows 11. Thanks!

I have a problem with the import of my backup in FireFox. I made an backup with MozBackup (.pcv) with my old Computer, Now with the new one and new FireFox program I can't import it, as the import will not recognive the used format.

I have tried to solve it to convert it to .zip but then the import won't run, or quit's after about 25 to 30% import.

How can I resolve this problem, which also count's for the new Thunderbird. As I am now missing all the maps at both programs.
