I cannot change my Homepage

Every time I try to change my homepage it reverts back to MSN. I have dragged new tabs to my home button and the popup asks if I want to change my home screen, which I agree, but it reverts back to MSN as soon as I open a new window. I have typed the website into my home settings under custom URL and it still always reverts back. I am SO irritated. At this point I have started looking up ways to block the website. Can I get any suggestions?
