Hi nexatro, you are correct that Firefox looks different on different operating systems. Could you describe these problems in more detail:
Need fixing:
- Tabs design
- Top design is not transparent
We might be able to suggest workarounds or add-ons to restyle those areas.
To submit suggestions for changes to future versions of Firefox, you can use this page: https://input.mozilla.org/feedback/firefox
The tabs design Mac OS < Windows 10 Firefox tabs On Mac OS, has an shade right next to it. On Windows 10, it is smooth looking (no shade). -- On Mac OS, the background of window is really solid. On Windows 10, the background transparent and blurry.
Hi nexatro, on the first point, what do you man by a shade? I am attaching part of another user's screenshot. Does yours look different?
On the second point, you can try a custom style rule, as described in the following thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/3zc6y7/firefox_v43_broke_title_bar_transparency_for_mac/
You can apply custom style rules to Firefox's interface using either:
- the Stylish extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish/
- create a new blank style and paste the rule from the Reddit thread then click Preview to test it out
- a userChrome.css file: http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css
Yes this what I mean.
It's doesn't work.
I don't have a Mac. Hopefully another volunteer can take a look at it. Or keep searching for a "ready-to-use" solution.
