Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

OK, so far what has happened is Kaspersky has helped in stopping the ads from showing up, but its still there: https://gyazo.com/c3669d5b026c3e7d63b2752ff2af916d this happens every minute, i click somewhere and this tab flashes up like 6 times. It still threatens mozilla, what I'd like is for it to dissapear for good and i've tried all the other adware cleaners no use, also kapersky won't keep this adware away forever its a 30 day trial period, this problem will resurface in a month and won't go away.

When searching for suspect programs on your PC, look for ones that you don't recognise that have the same installation date.

Looked at that site and did everything before, doesn't work.

Hi, sorry you are having so much trouble with this. Have a look for Gyazo on your PC in your Programs (Start Menu > Control Panel > Programs) and uninstall it if there is any sign of it.

Also have a look in your Program and other Files (Start Menu > Computer, and double click on your C: drive), if you see anything, you can right click > Delete.

You can also type Gyazo in your PC's search box in the Start Menu, and see if anything comes up.

Gyazo is a image host as the links were to images.

ADWARE ISSUE FIXED!

My issue with adware/browser hijacking turned out to be a "simple" fix.

Not really "simple" because I spent all God-damned day, trying every anti-malware product I could get my hands on, with no resolve!

During all this, I did notice one thing: IE was not affected! So, in the back of my feeble mind, I figured the malware was attacking Firefox only.

FINALLY, I RESET Firefox!

NO MORE ADWARE!

I should have reset Firefox to begin with! Simple fix! Stupid me!

May not apply to all malware but definitely this one!
