Firefox cannot load Google
Hi, I have a annoying trouble.
My OS is Win 7 64bit, Firefox version 37.0.2. My computer is working normally now.
My problem is : Firefox can't load Google site after loading for a 1st time. It means when I open Google in the next time, Firefox keep "loading screen" forever.
I did try to solve, such as : change to Google Public DNS, clear cache, refresh Firefox, open Firefox in safemode, clear uninstall Firefox and reinstall again, disable Firewall and Internet Security, create a new profile.
My computer also installed Google Chrome and Opera. They can load Google and use Google Instant normally.
Hopefully to get a new answer soon. Thank all.

Hi bangrobe, Just to make sure it is not adware causing this, see if you can successfully change the homepage.
- First try to change the homepage and make sure there are no hijackers: How to set the home page
- Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
- Check the Web Console for any errors, then check the url bar to make sure that mixed content is not being blocked when visiting: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl Mixed content blocking in Firefox
I hope this helps.
Sorry, checked it all: malware, homepage, cache and cookie, web console. Nothing wrong. I open Google with Firefox and Chrome at the same time. Firefox keep loading while Chrome open the page immediately.
So its a start up issue and to doublecheck, does this happen when you change the default browser? And is Firefox's homepage https://www.google.com or https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl?
Could you describe in a little more detail how you are making the first and second visits to the page? For example, the first visit could be:
- Home page
- Bookmark
- Used the search bar to search on Google
And then the second visit that doesn't work:
- Searched in the Google page
- Used the Back button to get from a found site back to the results page
- Opening Google in a new tab
Et cetera.
Note: If you have problems using the Back button with the results page blanking out, and reloading the page fixes it temporarily, there is a setting you can change to address that issue. (More detail if relevant.)
