How do I get rid of the locator which I never, ever want on my toolbar and which cannot be "removed from toolbar" manually? It sucks, it disrupts, UNWANTED

suddenly I have a really creepy "locator" on my toolbar that keeps asking me if I want to share my location. Fork no! Totally unwanted. When I right click the "remove from toolbar" option is dead. Sucks. I may stop using mozilla because of it. Help please

1. Type "about:config" in the address bar 2 in the search box that appears, type "geo.enabled" 3. Double-click on the entry that appears to set the value to false
