Please, excuse my english - I am of south german origin and this system configured for german brings errors after i have written correctly - english -> englisch.

Firefox for iOS on iPhone 12 mini was dying on first touch after every restart. It was heavily used - as single digital device. I was used to have at least one desktop computer with Linux with all possibilties to archive my data (USB, external hard disk, USB-stick) And I missed heavily the former functions to manage, archiving bookmarks. „Fehlerbehebungsmodus“ Error analyzing seemed not to be available with Firefox for iOS despite existing in other variations - at least Firefox for Windows? Could be something other memory problem - temporary files? Smartphones - iPhones - are to me something like a black box not under my control. Only rescue to get around with bloated Firefox seemed a new installation. After I got a hint I tried to update without success. So no other way - new installation. I registrated for Firefox Sync and hoped to get my bookmarks saved. I have read i wouldn‘t lose any data! So what‘s up? I really would prefer to regularly archive my data. But external drives are impossible with iOS - forbidden. So where are my bookmarks?

Desktop browser: no Bookmarks Phone browser: Bookmarks Goal: Sync phone browser Bookmarks to desktop browser Bookmarks. Danger: backup Bookmarks before Sync syncs wrong way and no data wipes data device.

Desktop browser sync prompt is wrong: Menu -> tap Sync and save data -> tap Ready to Scan -> scan desktop Firefox QR code -> Pairing unsuccessful. Try again. OK

Here's the correct steps: Sync your Firefox experience -> tap I already have Firefox for mobile -> tap Continue -> Sync Firefox on your phone or tablet -> open Firefox 144.1 (62735) on phone -> tap Menu (3 dots at bottom) -> tap Settings -> tap Sync Now -> desktop Firefox -> open new Tab -> Bookmarks appear -> right click Import bookmarks from another browser to Firefox -> tap Remove from Toolbar.

So bookmark syncing doesn’t really sync, correct? That is, bookmarks you create on a mobile device go to Mobile Bookmarks and those created on a computer go to Desktop Bookmarks? Sheesh, what’s the point? That wasted a lot of my time and energy.

I have linked, synced, authenticated, the whole nine, all my logins are gone, what’s wrong? I’m logged in on my phone, tablet and laptop, still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

I switched away from Google products earlier this year and while I'm never had issues with firefox in the past I am now realising the limitations. I was able to seamlessly move all my passwords from chrome to firefox. However, often when I need it most, the up-to-date firefox app on my iPhone 13 mini (iOS 18.6.2) does not seem offer all the logins I have access to on my browser, let alone autofill them. I can sync tabs, I can see all my bookmarks, so why can't I access all my passwords on the app? Everything works fine when accessing the browser on my work PC and my aging macbook.

I think Firefox won’t load because I have duck duck go on iOS. I am trying to perform the sync option offered by Firefox. I am unable to use the camera within the app for the QR code but duck duck go comes up. What should I do next?

Firefox on iOS states "No saved passwords" despite my desktop having all passwords and sync turned on. Turning off sync, signing out and back in, deleting the app and reinstall, all did not resolve the issue.

I'm experiencing an issue where "Open Tabs" sync is not working between my iOS Firefox and Windows PC Firefox, despite all other sync features working correctly.

- When I go to `about:firefoxview#syncedtabs` ("Tabs from other devices") on Windows PC, it shows "どこからでもタブを取り出す" (Get tabs from anywhere) with no devices listed - The iOS device does not appear in the synced tabs list - Even though the same tabs appear in History (proving sync connection works), they don't appear in "Tabs from other devices"

Restarted Firefox on both devices

Tabs open on iOS Firefox should appear in Windows Firefox under "Tabs from other devices" (about:firefoxview#syncedtabs).

Is this a known issue with Firefox for iOS and Open Tabs sync? Is there a way to fix this, or is this feature not fully supported on iOS?

The app was not working well and not previewing any images in any search or content, so I tried to reinstall the app and logged in again, the problem is I lost all the synced data, tabs, passwords, and when I clicked on the synch tab nothing appears, please find images attached.

I did try and search this and it seems like it happens fairly often. Out of nowhere I was working on a lot of tabs, they appear in history and Sync was turned on. But I open Firefox and everything is gone. Is there any way to restore this for iPadOS?

The latest FireFox mobile app on the latest ios does not synch bookmarks anymore. The sync is ON, on all of my devices and also on my desktop computer and the bookmarks sync is turned on where I've installed FireFox. In the past, when I used to bookmark a page on any of my mobile devices, it created a folder called Mobile Bookmarks and added the bookmarks to this folder, then on my desktop, in the bookmark manager, I'd copy them from Mobile Bookmarks folder to the Bookmark Menu folder and the Mobile Bookmarks folder would automatically disappear once it was emptied out.

As of the latest update, the bookmarks on my ios devices just get dumped into the FireFox blank tab workspace. Is this supposed to be a new intended bad design or mishap or annoying feature just creating more work for us?

Also, the Home button at the top of the page, next to the URL bar, has disappeared and it was a major convenience because instead of closing a tab and reopening a new one, I could just press the home button to clear the current tab and start anew. I guess another bad redesign where a developer or ui/ux designer thought it was a useless feature? It was a very useful feature and I see tons of requests on your website to put it back.

I used to browse on Firefox on my iPhone, and when I wanted to delve into a tiny page I would send it to my computer's Firefox. That capability seems to have gone away. Is there still a way to do that? I have tried turning Desktop Site on but that doesn't seem to do anything. Help!

I have relied on Lo Wise for years have all of my passwords scored on it however, as of late my account says there is no passwords for my account even though everything is synced from computer and phone and Firefox and is up-to-date please help

How is it that when I try to sync my Firefox app on computers and phone the instructions do not lead where they say, then asks for Gmail or Google log in then tells me my passwords are protected with a number code or Face ID - which I never did or authorized. Could use some help with the cray triangulation.
