So i have been using firefox on pc for a while now peacefully, i would usually be able to download videos from dailymotion via videodownloader pro ext without any prompts for “save as” for videos, it would automatically add the videos to the downloader and start download.

Sadly those good days have ended as i accidentally deleted the extension via the troubleshoot> restart options.

On a fresh firefox, I redownloaded the videodownloader pro, unchecked the “always ask” for the downloads in the setting, and tried to download a video. it popped up the save as prompt, i tested a winrar download to see if it was on the extensions side, it was able to download without the prompts. I then checked the settings for the extension itself in which did not have anything for downloads. I next tried a different downloader, video downloader professional ext, that also had same result as the previous extension.

Anyone have this problem and have fix? In the meanwhile downloading shows is going to be one extra click of pain for me.

After FTP upload, jpg images are displayed rotated in FireFox-Browser (111.0.1 - 32-Bit). In IE looks OK. The website is built with dreamweaver 8.0. What can I do?

Calendar has 22 categories and an option to add Custom Categories. However, any custom categories I have added whilst editing an entry only seem to get saved in that entry, not in the list. If I need to use that category again I have to enter it again - every time! It seems logical to me that adding a category means it gets to stay in the list and I'd also expect that it would then be sorted apha-numerically.

Is it possible to edit the category list somewhere in FF?

Sometimes, usually, when I watch YouTube, I could see in the Process Manager (about:processes) that GPU process takes 2-3 GB. YouTube could be open in multiple tabs, but I watch only in one tab. All other YouTubes have been stopped. (I have always the latest version of Firefox. ) Is it a bug? Maybe disable hardware acceleration?

How can I fix Firefox so that I can log into my account with CareCredit, mysynchrony.com or carecredit.com? I keep getting an error message. I can log in fine using Safari but I prefer Firefox. Thanks.

This release changes the function of the 'wheel' on a mouse.

Instead of scrolling up & down a page, it now 'zooms' in and out.

Is this deliberate? Or, is it a bug?

I recorded USB webcam pictures with MJPG_streamer and converted them to mp4 using

  ffmeg -r 20 -pattern_type glob -i "*.jpg" -c:v libx264 test.mp4

Firefox complains "video can't be played because the file is corrupt" Google Chrome and VLC have no problems playing the file.

What options for ffmpeg do I need to create the mp4 files so that firefox can play them?

Lately play buttons haven't been working, it may have started with the latest update. It works on YouTube videos but I can't start a trailer on IMDB or play a song on Bandcamp, and lots of other sites aren't working. Firefox 111.0 64-bit and Windows 8.1

With the latest update, the scroll bar is too wide (1/2"-1") and I can't find a way to change it. It only happens in Firefox. All other programs and browsers are normal. I have tried going to "regedit' to change it, but it doesn't affect it at all. It's making Firefox almost unusable.

Mozilla now FORCE updates, and after every FORCED update, firefox will stop working, or take off to 15 windows open, and over 750mgs used just to idle. According to microsoft this w-10 was fully up to date on 15/Mar/2023(6 days ago), so you don't have to STOOP to blaming this PC for the HUGE memory use, and 15 windows open on start.

I have a new Macbook Air with OS ventura installed, two-finger trackpad scrolling is not working with Firefox. It works with Safari and other programs. I'd love to figure out the problem.

I can view the barnes and noble website but cannot log into my account. Upon entering my login and password, I receive the following error message:"An unexpected error has occurred. Please refresh your page and try again. If this problem persists, please contact customer support." I have contacted B&N support and been told the problem is not on their end and to use a different browser because the issue "must" be a Firefox issue.

Since last update I can't open email with the mail in Firefox. Says it is being redirected...please help
