Hello, I have somehow replaced by bookmarks with empty bookmarks, and I don't have the previous version in backups on my local machine.

None of those help my case. I've looked there. Mozzila lunched in 'brand new browser' mode I logged in and then my bookmarks were gone. I tried loading my old profile witch worked, but once I logged in they were gone and unrecoverable. No backup no history or anything.
