Firefox and Thunderbird crash on startup
On my computer, I run Mageia Cauldron with a GNOME environment. After a recent update of my system, both Firefox and Thunderbird have stopped working. They crash constantly when I try to launch either of them. In both cases, when I try to launch them from the command line, I get the following message: ATTENTION: default value of option mesa_glthread overridden by environment. ATTENTION: default value of option mesa_glthread overridden by environment. Segmentation fault (core dumped)
For basic info, my system is: OS: Linux Mageia Cauldron Environment: GNOME Shell 43.1 Display server: X11 Kernel: 6.1.8-desktop-1.mga9 x86_64 Firefox: 102.7.0esr Thunderbird: 102.6.1
Looking around, it seems to be a bug with Firefox and Thunderbird, but besides waiting for a new update that might fix itself, I wonder if there is something I can do to make them work now.

The problem solved itself. New updates of Mageia Cauldron fixed the bug.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted/Unsubmitted Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.
Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.
(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Hi, I would if I could, but currently, I cannot even get a Firefox window to open.

Segmentation fault (core dumped) Is all I get when I try to run Firefox or Thunderbird from the command line. I don't know yet what more information that I can provide, that could be of any help.
