I have had a government website to log into for informatin from them. It was always auto-filled. I have asked for support from them and they gave me another number to call and I did everything they asked, but then I got a little note saying that that site is not longer available and that it was cleared when I cleared the cache. I have tried creating a new account and even that doesn't work. Is there any way to get that website back?

Did you possibly use "Forget About This Site" as this also removes a stored login (username and password) ? Clearing only cache and cookies shouldn't have this effect.

Firefox 80+ has a logins-backup.json file in the profile folder that can be used in case of issues with logins.json or to undo an accidental delete/update of a password. You can check if you can find this logins-backup.json file in the profile folder or in a backup and check if you see this website in the file by using a text editor to inspect the file.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
