A "Cloud' swept over my computer and erased all of my data and fire-fox operating system and and operating system. I think all of data is still in my computer but, I can not retrieve it. My banking information was left intacked but all of the accounts were erased.

as of yesterday tuesday July 14th I am not able to play the trivia game: I'm getting a message to prove I'm human, when I click I get an allow message....then I keep getting the same page I can not access the game any longer.

I download my share of media using BitTorrent with Pirate Bay. Just lately, every time I attempt to download something I get redirected to a page, https://ultimatesurferprotector.com/lp5.php, that tries to sell me a VPN and I can find no way to stop this or contact them. I am happy with the VPN I have and have no interest in purchasing another. Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening? Thank you.

I just spent a considerable amount of time replying to a answer to a question I that I also have. I added a screenshot and all. To post it I clicked the Post Reply but where did it go? I cant see it so have no idea if the intended has viewed it or not Any ideas please.

I was having trouble with folders in Thunderbird on my desktop which were different to my Thunderbird folders on my android phone. I deleted Thunderbird from my desktop and also the profiles. I wanted to start again, but Thunderbird will not reopen. How can I get Thunderbird to open and start over with the setup. I am enjoying Thunderbird on my phone and it has all the folders from the email server. Thank you

So I had Mozilla account with Syncing Enabled before I reinstall windows (I had only Zen browser on my pc), and after reinstalling windows I downloaded Zen and got in my account, but after pressing syncing there is no passwords, no history, no bookmarks, literally no data that I had before, does that mean I lost all my data?

Hi... I have switched from Google to Thunderbird and am using my old Gmail address: viewegm11@gmail.com on Thunderbird with not problem. Before moving over, I imported all of the email files over to Thunderbird...(old emails and the like).

Now Gmail has sent me a notice saying that I have no more space on the Google server and that I soon won't be able to send or receive emails via Google. Does this apply to Google only or to Thunderbird, as well?

In sum: I no longer log into Gmail or Chrome at all... I am using Thunderbird ONLY to Send and Receive emails at: viewegm11@gmail.com [on Thunderbird].

So the Question arises: Does the warning from Google that tells me That I won't be able to use Gmail anymore apply to my use of the viewegm11@gmail.com address over here on Thunderbird? Or am I safe in choosing to continue using my original Gmail address on Thunderbird...in spite of the warning from Google.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Is there a blessed solution to the problem above? I'm sure we're not alone, but our end users are not admins. God forbid... So the official statement of "enter admin credentials" is not a plausable solution on managed systems. Providing a Reinstall Firefox on the users' selv service store is something we can do, but users are usually not fond of losing browser data. (I do konw about Firefox account to sync/restore) My question is more like as the problem roots back to permission problems, what would be the proper command(s) to fix permissions? I can run commands on the end users' comptuers in the background, as root/system user, or even as them of course. Thanks

I have Windows 11 in this Thinkpad!! Why was using FireFox which I guess is out of business? So now I need a way to get Gmail, but Google Chrome has pop-ups that are taking up 25% of my screen space!!! Why? Help? should I go to Best Buy? What to ask? What did I do wrong? I'm 81. (Hate to tell age!) What to do? Thanks, Terry
