My Firefox is in English, but the new update page is never displayed in English,

Problem number 1: It should be based on the installed language.

Problem number 2: It says PT-PT but it's 100% PT-BR, What is "celular" and "privativo"?, sintax does not conform to european portuguese either.

My browser constantly tries to guess the language of web pages and offers me translations. These functions get in my way, I don't need them. How to switch off any translations (and translation offers) forever for all sites?

I hope an email translation feature can be added to the application, similar to Gmail's, making it more convenient to translate the content of emails written in foreign languages.

Warum in Englisch??? Ich lebe in Deutschland, habe mich in Deutschland in "Deutscher Sprache" angemeldet und erwarte dass Firefox dass nicht nur zur Kenntnis nimmt, sondern auch anwendet! Ich will nicht bei jedem Umblättern oder anklicken von Links jedes Mal wieder versuchen eine Deutsche Seite zu erlangen - das ist ätzend und leider auch technisch nicht sehr überzeugend! Auch auf dieser Seite sind die meißten Texte in Englisch -das ist einfach schlecht - wenn ich dem System als Sprache Deutsch angebe, erwarte ich von einem System im 21. Jahrhundert, dass er das nicht nur versteht sondern auch beibehält und auch bei der nächsten Anmeldung in dem Account noch weiß und nicht wieder erneut mit dem "Engisch-Zirkus" beginnt. Leider ist diese Programm gefühlt davon weiter entfernt als Berlin von NewYork! Dass ich inzwischen 79 Jahre alt bin ist einerseits schön, andererseits leider sehr anstrengend, da die Anforderungen an einen Account ganz offensichtlich im 21. It seems encoding in my Thunderbird does not match 8bit. Several years ago Thunderbird had an option to modify text encoding but I cannot find such an option in the recent versions. It would be really appreciated if anyone help. Thank you.

Hi, my Phone's default language is Punjabi* (Gurmukhi) but in Android play store the app info for the Mozilla Firefox is shown in the Punjabi (Shahmukhi). This is not thr issue with any other app in the play store. THANKS.

I changed computers and in order to make sure I could use TB on the new one, I updated the old computer from 120-something to 128.5.2, and then installed 128.5.2 on the new one as well. The transfer went okay - once I saw the video that explains how to do it - but when I sat down to write an R-T-L email, it didn't automatically R-T-L, and when I looked for the "switch-direction" button I was used to in the old TB, it wasn't there! I can write in Hebrew, (or Arabic), but I can't R-T-L the text. HELP? HELP! Thank you

This issue only pertains to the Chinese language and is not a website problem. In the startup settings, when the option to open previous windows and tabs is enabled, after keeping several web pages and re-entering the browser, Firefox will attempt to open the previous tabs. However, if a new tab is selected at this time, the search bar should normally display 'Use Baidu to search, or enter a URL,' but in reality, the characters for 'Baidu' appear as garbled text. This bug consistently occurs in this version. This issue only appeared after I automatically updated Firefox a few days ago; I have never encountered this problem before. May I ask everyone, how should this problem be resolved?

My spell check generally doesn't work, but occasionally comes back to life, I have tried the about config, and change value to 2, I have tried uploading dictionary, and making sure check as I type is ticked, but the setting on config seems to keep reverting to 1, and I'm sure if I have successfully uploaded a dictionary, I clicked on language pack, Ironically while I'm typing this, my spell check is actively involved.

How do I get Firefox to stop flagging Canadian spellings as wrong when English-ca is my top preferred language in settings? I am writing a WordPress post using Firefox on Mac.

The subject line of replies to email messages are preceded with Aw: instead of Re:. Aw: appears to be the German language version of Re:, but my language is set to English as best as I can determine. Forwarded email are preceded with Fw: as normal. My other email (Yahoo mail) does not have this problem. I do not see anything other than the Subject line Aw: that looks like it is in another language. If I use a different browser (I usually use Firefox,) the same problem occurs so I do not think it is a browser setting. It only happens in my mail.com account so I do not think it is a global Windows setting. This problem started several months ago -- I have been using mail.com for many years without this problem so it appears to be caused by a mail.com update. Thanks.
