We observe those three possibilities. See the first image. Apparently the first possibility is the one that is chosen. I'm talking about just an email address with no name.
Okay, in the second image it turns out it was not the first possibility that was chosen it was the second possibility.
However at the bottom of the screen again we see it seems to be saying it was the first possibility.
No I'm not saying I ever expected it to be the first possibility. I'm just saying that this needs all to be 150% more clearer.

Thunderbird does not import current messages from Gmail, it lags several hours behind. For example, Gmail will show new messages arriving at 9 am but Thunderbird shows most recent messages arriving at 12 am. I have checked settings and it seems like syncing is set correctly. Google Pixel 9a, Android v16.
TB stopped refeshing and the most recent message is more than 12 hours ago. A restart of the phone changed nothing

I believe I found a bug. When drafting an email and switching away from Thunderbird the draft email gets sent but still remains in the drafts folder.
I created two emails today and had to switch away multiple times to get some information to paste into the emails. Thunderbird evidently sent out the draft in its current format whenever I switched away from the app.

What do I have to do to send emails out? When I click on "send" then the emails are stored in the outbox but haven't been send.

Thank you for Thunderbird mobile!
I get a message not sent error when doing the following on Android smartphone: - click an email address link - create email opens - send completed email
Expected result: Email goes to outbox and is removed after sending
Actual result: - email stays in outbox and error cannot send is displayed - when moving email to Entwürfe and send again the sending succeeds, but email is present twice in sent folder
Please have a look!
