flash player is not loading videos in youtube and streaming sites saying i dont have the plugin or just black screen. i have updated flash player and down graded it, i have also tried to update firefox but just doesnt update, closes firefox and reloads but the update is still available, 8.0.1 version shown. videos play fine in chrome and IE on my PC, really dont want to uninstall firefox and reinstall due to bookmarks and customised tool bar etc help?!

I had a technician to clean and remove Babylon search from my computer and it still attached itself to whatever I'm doing. I uninstalled Mozilla fox at least five times , then re-installed. However, I cannot get rid of Babylon search. I spent $100 dollars to resolved this problem and it's not working. I handle high confidential files on my computer. I am afraid to open the file due to fear of information being compromised.

Whenever I open Firefox, there are two firefox.exe running the background whenever I open the browser. Whenever I try to close the second one, it crashes all of the tabs that are on the browser, and whenever I reload the tabs, it pops up again.
I've scanned my computer multiple times with multiple anti-viruses, but there was no viruses to be found. I've also disabled the plugins that I thought were the issue, and refreshed Firefox, but it was still there. I restarted my computer, no luck in doing that. Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox didn't even do the trick either.
The double processes sky-rockets my RAM and CPU, and it's starting to get annoying. Please help! I appreciate any cooperation!

After installing, the actual product download failed but now when I open Firefox and Internet Explorer it directs and goes to NationZoom. I go into options and type in yahoo to open program or a new tab and it goes to NationZoom. How do I get rid of it? I found that NationZoom's parent company is Violeter Technology Limited when I did a Google search. I would like to downgrade to the previous version which was simpler and more intuitive. The bookmarks system is terrible (like the expanding programs menu in Windows 95 when the start button is pressed) It's possible to pin the window to the side bar but when you click on "history", it floats back up again and has to be re-pinned. Also I had nice big toolbar buttons with text. It doesn't seem to be possible to have these in this version. The backwards and forwards toolbuttons have gone, and a create bookmark button is stuck to the bookmarks button. It doesn't seem to be possible either to move tabs below the menu.

For example, torproject.org is inaccessible on Firefox unless I am willing to trust DigiCert to never sign a fake certificate either by negligence or by court order of any country in witch they operate, thereby making every https: site ( not just torproject.org ) vulnerable to a MITM attack.
A user disabling CAs in the browser is not unreasonable given the ever growing list of CAs built into Firefox ( each one a potential point of failure ), the number of CAs that have been recently compromised and the very low standards required to obtain a certificate.
While I understand the desire to protect the average user who doesn't understand how certificates work and will click past warnings without reading them, this protection should not come at the expense of more security conscious users.
I would recommend an about:config setting that would allow the creation of exceptions by users who explicitly choose to do so.
So far the only kludge I have been able to come up with is to modify c:\program files\mozilla firefox\xul.dll with a hex editor and replace the sites on the list ( this is far from an ideal solution ).

I can not for the life of me take back the "HOMEPAGE" I have searched around everywhere and found how to take over the "NEW TAB" issue and it is back to Google.ca.
But I have yet to find a single issue with the Homepage being automatically hijacked and sending me straight back to the website no matter what I do to change the URL.
I have done the following things.
1: Removed the Toolbar from Add-ons
2: Removed the Toolbar from Control Panel
3: Shut down my computer and rebooted into Safe Mode - Networking to run Malware and other virus scanners.
4: Changed my Hosts File
5: Turned on Firefox in Safe-Mode resetting all defaults.
6: Changed the URL several times. ____________________________________________________
I can set the homepage to "Blank" which solves the issue. BUT I want Claro off my computer for good not just covered up with settings.
NOTE: I do not have expert knowledge in computerized configuration so I am at a lose into doing something like Manually checking my systems files and such to remove this issue.
If you know how to fix this, Please be detailed and simple.
Also! If i type anything into the search bar incorrectly it automatically uses iSearch-Claro to search for results.
