I believe I had all this synced in Firefox Settings before I made the upgrade. Like all you fellow former users of Windows 10, I had to upgrade to Windows 11; and did so two days ago. Now, I found that I do not have under History any of the former sites I not only visited but also had tabs open. What can I do, if anything, to recover them? Under the Add-ons Manager, if this helps, I already had the app Tab Session Manager, but don't know how to use it. Thanks to all in advance who may have made this same upgrade. Many out there are still on Windows 10.

I am not able to receive mail from a user sending me mail from a gmail.com account. I have communicated with my ISP Optonline.net and they state the there mail process "checks out" and the issue could be the browser I am using, Firefox. The last email I have from a gmail.com sender was 8/28/2025. I have asked two different gmail users the send me mail and have not received any of them. I have cleared the Firefox cache but that did not correct the issue. I come to you to figure this issue out and hopefully solve it. There is something wrong with Firefox Mozilla and causes me a lot of problems with websites. I am signed into youtube though says not signed in and problems with access to AliExpress account and messages. What is going on that I have to use another browser?

I've been using Firefox for decades without any problems. Still on Windows 10. The last update 'made' my bookmarks 'disappear'. I can see all the backups, but somehow they can't be reloaded. Worse, can't even reload my own earlier backup (HTML format). I've tried all available tricks to no avail.

I'm crazy when I DO it. How do I fix?

I like the idea of horizontal tabs, but the line between the topics and the website is TOO DARN SMALL!

How do I go into to make it larger?

I know it's simple, but HOW?

At the moment all websites accessed through Firefox are all crashing after a few minutes and often a lot less. It is happenig constantly. It started before I updated Firefox today, but has continued after the update. Anyone know what's happening? I'm still on Windows 10 - will that be an issue?

every time i go to open a link it puts me in a new tab, even trying to use the original way of changing the preferences in the browser itself doesn't work, it either opens a new window or new tab. i dont like new tabs or new windows created while searching or opening links, please help :/

It's a helpful feature I'm sure for some users to be able to drag a tag onto another tag and have it auto-create a group for you.

However I have been dragging tabs to reorganize their order in the window my whole life. Now, they are all of a sudden creating tab groups.

Example (one of many) I order my amaz*n shopping tabs by item price to compare.

I would like to turn this "drag to create tab group" OFF (back to the old behavior).

Please don't get confused: there's a new feature detailed in the blog: https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/tab-groups-updates/ which is dragging onto a GROUP. I am NOT asking about that. I'm asking about dragging one tab on top of another which are NOT YET IN A GROUP and having firefox CREATE a NEW group.

In about:config searching for "drag" the only things I can see are

browser.tabs.dragDrop.createGroup.delayMS 240 browser.tabs.dragDrop.expandGroup.delayMS 350 browser.tabs.dragDrop.moveOverThresholdPercent 80 browser.tabs.dragDrop.pinInteractionCue.delayMS 500 browser.tabs.dragDrop.selectTab.delayMS 350

But I can't make any sense of those.

Choices? I need to understand the App before committing my internet presence. Options to revert to Firefox/Windows, disable features I choose. Otherwise it just GQQle. Sync is already intruding on my preferences.

I don't know if this is the proper topic, but I'm not sure what to call it. For the longest time I've had an issue with the settings being reset every time I open the browser - all my add-ons are off, all my configurations return to the original state, every single time. I have to manually turn them on all over again every time. Does anybody else has the same issue? Can it be solved somehow? Do I need to redownload Firefox or something?

I recently updated my browser, and it has a new profile menu, but it doesn't recognize the old profiles I made before the update that were still accessible through the About:profiles shortcut. I can still freely use the old profiles just fine, just have to access them through the old menu. I'm wondering if there is a simple way to move the old profiles to the new menu so I don't get this issue?

Trying to figure out how to wide the "line" in between the sidebar, with tabs IN it, and major website. Can anyone have a tip?

Social Security just stopped me from downloading my 2026 COLA on Firefox with an error 400 (bad request), but I was able to do it on Edge. More and more websites, particularly financial and government websites, work with Edge but not Firefox. And when I call their customer services, their first response is "try another browser!" Why do they hate Firefox?

If someone wants me to walk them through an example of the problem(s), I can do that when I pull statements or pay bills on those websites. The worst example is Synchrony Bank, which runs several credit cards I use. You may contact me by email at [email removed]@att.net (put FIREFOX PROBLEM in the title so I don't miss it).

I also have Mozilla VPN, and some things only work when I turn off the VPN, so that may be compounding the incompatibility. Although I am in Eugene (OR), the closest location for my VPN is Seattle.

When Firefox is updating itself, it can create different profiles and so lose all bookmarks, passwords, logins and everything . And I have to start doing many things again, but can't return the pins I have kept or open tabs in other windows , and this cause me a lot already

I have 2 questions that I want answers for : 1 - Why you give a solution for this matter on your site ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-user-data-missing-after-firefox-update ) , and not solving this matter in the first place?

2- Are you going to fix this matter and when ?
