Out of a sudden all of my bookmarks were lost. I tried importing bookmarks i had previously saved in an HTML. Did NOT work. I tried "revert to older date bookmarks." Did NOT work. I tried "import from another browser."Did NOT work. Funny thing is that with the same HTML file i extracted from mozilla when i made a copy a couple of weeks before, i was able to upload all bookmarks to Opera but not to Mozilla!!!! The image below for the non Greeks reads "Failure to process copy document".
My passwords are apparently lost today after updating Firefox. What went wrong? How could that happen? Why, Why Why? Anyway to get them back? Are they hidden somewhere?… (மேலும் படிக்க)

Latest Firefox release update wiped out my bookmarks. Tried to restore a saved HTML version - and it says "this file doesn't include any bookmark data". (This is a "Firefox HTML Document" property type, saved using the BACKUP feature on w/n Firefox itself - using "manage bookmarks".)
The last update wiped out my favorites and browsing history. Can they be recovered??

Had a crash earlier on my macbook that required a restart. Everything else is fine but I have lost all history and bookmark data on my firefox browser. I tried going to see if i had the wrong profile and that was not the issue. I tired recovering the bookmarks in the manage boomarks option but there were no backup files.
I have some important bookmarks i need recovered. Any help would be highly appreciated.

I am as much a believer in security as the next person but I don't understand what is going on,
I have had no response to my original ticket, which I beleive was number 305857 which I can no longer find any refernce to in my account, and I still have a completely blank Library! and I can't even make any new bookmarks!

I had at least half a year's worth of history and now it's gone. How can I get that history back? For reference, I am using the latest update on a Win10 OS. I want to get this back, because there's a lot of pages I'd like to revisit but now cannot.

Rebuilt my computer, restored Bookmarks from 'bookmarks-2025-08-30.html' but the original 'Other bookmarks' (just below 'Bookmarks toolbar') is now empty and has been moved to the bottom of all my other bookmarks in a new 'Other Bookmarks' folder. How do I get the contents back in the 'Other bookmarks' (just below 'Bookmarks toolbar'). P.S. I have a backed up 'bookmarks-2025-08-30.json' as well as a ' bookmarks-2025-08-30.html' available, if that would help. Regards and Best, NP_145

For some reason all of a sudden my bookmarks don't show their identification icons that are associated with that web site. Those icons are to the immediate left of the site address. I used to use those colored icons as a quick reference to select the web site I wanted. Being I have MANY bookmarks, those icons to the left were a GREAT help to locating a specific bookmark.
I could locate a bookmark by the web site icon that is shown to the left of the site address. Now that icon just shows a non colored ball with globe in it. Is there a way to show a earlier date of my bookmarks? Maybe that way I could see the old bookmark menu the way it used to be shown when I accessed my bookmark menu? Can someone please help. Thank you.
